The characters and scenery look great! And the dialog was getting interesting. It's unfortunate I couldn't complete the investigation. I hope to play a more finished version. Good job!

Interesting genre, as I have never tried these kind of games - now it is a gr8 meeting!
I guess they derive from RPG Maker-styled ones, right? Much writer skill you must have, to endeavor into this realm.

Nice drawn persons, good start for a visual novel or Adventure, but no Neon in sight ?
Yeah, the neons were supposed to be much more prominent, but the heat wave turned my brain into mush in the final weekend of the Jam (and we know the final weekend is usually the most productive). After that I had no time to properly incorporate the neons in the graphics and the story. >.<
The game crashed when I went into the barn :(

Was it just entering the barn, or did you try to perform an action in it (examine/talk/use item)? And if so, which action was it and what was the error message (if any)?
Okay, steps to reproduce:
- start a new game
- show badge to Horatia
- acquire the key in the greenhouse
- go to the last node in the barn
- use the key

I uploaded Neomon.fixed version which should prevent this problem (and some other potential crash).
