challenging pill dropper! loved the music, gameplay was fun and nicely polished.  Campaign mode and colorblind mode were cool additions!

Very fun. At first I thought "Oh, it's Tetris", but of course not really. Then after I understood the basics, I thought "Hey, I'm pretty good", and then the game said "Ok, now try in the real world...."

Oh even multiplayer! Great work.

I didn't have any sound but even without this is a very enjoyable game with a wholesome message too. Glad I finished the campaign.

I never played this kind of game before, but I like it! Looks and feels very solid.

This is really polished. The music and art style are totally on point and the animations of the balls are really nice and juicy.

I’m mega impressed that you managed to do three whole game modes.

Also great job on adding colour-blind support :+1:

The music slaps!

This is probably the smoothest game I’ve seen mad with the Tic80.

The one thing I would have loved would be the ability to “slide” the balls when they made contact. I found in later levels I’d get trapped on the left side of the playing field and be unable to recover.

Love the aesthetic and the environmental theme. Reminds me of Dr. Mario. Got through a few levels of the story before I lost. Thanks for the colorblind mode. Couldn't have played without it!

This is a very well-made game, and I love puyo-puyo which this game basically is. The controls are the standard for this kind of game, and work well. The graphics are pretty good for TIC-80. The music is GREAT. It’s a shame story mode throws you back to the menu when you lose, instead of giving you a possibility to replay just this level, so I gave up after the mission got too hard for me. I got 400 points in the endless mode afterwards, it doesn’t seem to get any harder so it can probably be played forever.

Thanks! I realized about 2 hours before the end of the jam that endless mode ramped up difficulty way too hard so I eased off on it but I think I went too far. Difficulty ramps up based on log(time) so it does increase but much too slowly. At least it should be appropriate for people who haven’t played Puyo Puyo before, haha.

There’s only 4 missions so I think you should be able to get back to where you were pretty quickly after losing but yeah, starting the level back over would have been better.

I think I may have been on the last mission then.. I guess I didn’t miss that much
