Elevator pitch
A 2D fighting/beat-em-up.

Describe how your game adheres to the theme
The original Matrix didn't requite any sequels to begin with. Now that the hero is dead and there's peace in the world, a sequel is even less necessary.

I think you should make it so the kick animation finishes if the player presses the kick button while the animation is already in progress. Especially with a beat-em-up people are going to be mashing buttons. Seeing the character just wind up a few times is a little confusing!

Cool art and idea, it just needs more time. I found it pretty easy to stunlock enemies with the punch, and be stunlocked myself, making the combat feel unpolished. I think given some more time, this definitely has potential.

Working out the controls was a bit dicey... really needs some explanation somewhere.

The player's punch felt pretty good, but the kick felt kinda slow and unimpactful.

Like the other commenter said, it's pretty easy to get stunlocked into a death.

Seems like the game ends really quickly, plus  the assets seem generally unfinished which is a shame.

Had problems figuring out the controls and it was too easy to get stunlocked. Seomtimes when punching I struck a pose instead. Cool art / music though.
