Super interesting concept, could see this going far, especially in light of Balatro taking over the world. Love the 1-bit art style and the milions of options for the two colours. If I was to make a recommendation; give it some squanch (or juice) and it will really make the game pop.
Regarding critcisms, some of the instructions could be a little clearer.
Great entry! Well done!
"If you encounter an odd smell, please remember you are surrounded by our fans" absolute cinema
Brilliant concept - very paper's please!! I enjoy table top card games.
I unfortunately yeeted the card into another dimension so was unable to continue...
Sorry you ran into that issue, I'll make sure to add a check for out-of-bounds! Please try the game again at some point when you have the time!
loved the tcg refrences you threw in the color pallet selection, wish i could eat parblo
Great fun and polished execution on the idea! I LOVED the cards, and the music was really nice. Challenging without being too difficult. Poor Plarbo (divorced).
Really liked this game. Nice UI and general design is pleasing to look at. Love the whole Habubis corp thing going and it took a round of a few mistakes to get how to value up the cards. My highest score is $211!
editing my comment to say I reached $499 - also, artwork on the cards themselves are top notch
Really fantastic aesthetic, and great all around concept!
Really great work!
Great concept! I love the design and the vibe of the game overall; accessibility option is really well done too :) great job y'all! I'd love to be able to go back and look at the cards that were rated and approved!
I have a bad habit of glossing over rules and just winging it and it was a lot of fun figuring out what I was supposed to do here haha
I really enjoyed this! Very polished UI. I liked the whole concept and it was super well executed. The music and sounds were nice but the music got a little bit repetitive after a while. Outside of that, awesome job!
Thanks for the feedback!
Very polished experience, the UI is really nice, the music and sfx are great and art is cute.
Having a way to change the volume during play would have been nice and having something that informs us why are rating was refused would have been greatly appreciated!
But other that, really enjoyed the experience!
I got the hang of it after a while. I liked the game because I happen to like math. But I can see how other people would not like the game. The shiny is confusing because it is placed in the same spot as the name-based evaluations. But the shiny is not name based, it is based on if it is emitting the shiny particles. So maybe move that to a different section on the evaluation notes. This game is a very creative way to implement the theme! The plarbos remind me of Pikmin.
Thank you for the feedback! This game definitely isn't for everyone, which is why I opted not to include a timer so that players wouldn't feel too pressured by quick maths. You're also totally right about the shiny thing, I'll make that clearer in the update I plan to make after the judging period is over.
Love the unique art style, but I got confused with the card valuation.
Thanks for your feedback! To value a card, take a look at the valuation guide note from the toolbar on the left, add up the relevant numbers, type that number in the valuation box on the right and then send the card off! Give it another go and see if that works for you.
That's what I'm saying it didn't help me but confused me even more. The card always has two faces, and the guide lists values for both. For example, if one face is $1 and the other is $3, do I add both values and enter that in the input field before selling, or is it something else? I tried both adding and not adding, but I always lose. Also, I know I need to check things like the card name and stats before valuation, right?
It sounds like you're almost there! You do have to add up both faces (these are the Type and Alignment of the card, you can see if they are valid using the notes in the toolbar!), as well as the values of the stats and any other miscellaneous additions from the valuation guide. Before you value a card, make sure the card you are valuing is real and not fake! Use all of the notes from the toolbar to identify and appraise the cards and you'll be a top inspector in no time.
