The game itself is incredibly fun, but the frame rate dips to just about nothing after a few seconds in the browser version. I figured it might be a browser issue so I downloaded it, but there doesn't seem to be an application to actually play in the downloaded .zip?

Developer

Thank you a lot! I never had that problem, but I made exe file that can be downloaded to play it. If that doesn't work I can always make a proper zip file.

don't now if the game if finished or if i'm too bad

Developer

Thanks for commenting! No you're not too bad. I just properly double checked, the game was bugged. Should be able finish it now.

Cool concept, not sure if I just couldn't hear sound or if there wasn't any but I think it would have added a lot to the game. Also couldn't progress after finding the journal.

Developer

Thank you for the review! I didn't put any sound in the game, and I agree with you it  would have elevated the game more. However I never really touch how sound work in the Godot engine, I will give it a go in the next game. Also the game was bugged and that why you couldn't progress, problem  fixed now.

I like the concept,  couldn't progress, but not sure if that was implemented yet or not --also when an enemy attacks sometimes the game over screen doesn't appear, and you 're able to move out of bounds of the rooms and such. I also liked the dialogue for the story you have setup it's cool.  Good job!

Thank you for the feedback!!! The reason you can't progress is because the game was bugged and the flag that kills a character doesn't enable. Problem fixed now though. If you have three health point, so you can't instant die, but I will look more it the system and the out of bounds area, most have missed some spots.

Interesting concept for a horror puzzle game. Keep at it and be proud of what you've built :)

Developer

Thank you! I tried and I'm very proud to keep on making games :)

Couldn't figure out how to use the journal to try and find laptop password. Has potential to be a fun little puzzle game! One tip I will give you for Godot to make your pixel art look nice and crispy is to go Project > Project Settings > Rendering > Textures and change the Default Texture Setting to "Nearest"

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the advice! I will use that tip next time I created a pixel art game in Godot. Especially, after testing it. it these looks crisper with that setting on. The journal is used on a painting, which has a safe in it after a character dies. That said character needs to be spoken to once and loot their corpse for the password to the laptop.

Developer

EDIT: Turns out the game was glitched that, so that's why you can't use the journal

Some typos (assisitant, becuase, etc) , would be cool to have the commands to know if you can attack or not. Like the gore all around the place.

I will triple-check my spelling next. Unfortunately, I didn't add combat because of how short the game is, and I had to put the controls in the game bio, not in the game. Thank you for being my first ever reviewer.
