A very philosophical game. It asks the question, "In the end, are we not all crab food?" And it answers the question: "Yes. Yes you are. In about 54 seconds, to be precise."
Fun game to play, but I found bug that happen randomly that the crab dash (attack me fast) when i shot him That i die instantly (it happen more often with the canon)
Thanks for the reply! I should really look into this bug, but I won't be able to change anything during the jam voting period. An update afterwards maybe?
No me gusta crab
I loved the art style and sound effects! It's a great game overall but gets boring over time.
Pretty alright game. It's very repetitive and there's a bug with the power powerup since it always knocks the crab forward you can knock the crab into yourself by shooting it when it's below you. I could knock away the crab indefinitely with the starting gun by just spam clicking. Concept's at least good though.
I also managed to get the crab stuck at the very top of the ship with the cannon, I'll probably check back here in an hour or so just to see how big my score gets lmao
Thanks for the reply! Should've playtested more I guess? With both the canon and the flintlock you can hold the mouse button instead of spamming it but yeah, I missed half the jam and made this in 3 evenings not the best I've ever made but not the worst either.
Pretty fun and the 4 colors are used very well, because when I was playing the game I was like: "No way this has just 4 colors!", but I counted and it indeed does, but the best tactic was just the get the cannon and camp in an corner and I have no idea what the power did, there should have always been a time indicator in the top corner because it felt like the time thingys did nothing, the sound effects didn't really fit because the music was like pixely kinda and the game was pixel art so I would recommend used sfxr or something like that to make the sound effects and there was DIFFERENTLY SIZED PIXELS, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! (that's the first thing I check when I play a game with pixel art.)
I'm terribly sorry for the differently sized pixels and I know I am a terrible human being for doing that. The time pickup boosts the next shot to push back the crab for a longer amount of time and the power pickup makes the next shot push the crab back further. Thanks for the prely!
