The "sleep for 30 seconds" side effect wasn't super fun.
I'm not totally sure what's going on though. Is picking the only action that's implemented?

I played this live on Discord server but it lagged a little bit. I have GTX 1650, it plays fine normally but the screen sharing must have caused the lag.
I don't know whether it has any effect on the gameplay but I love the day/night cycle, especially with the lighting and shadows. In terms of gameplay, I think the "sleep" side-effect should take a shorter amount of time. I guess I got unlucky but I got the sleep side-effect multiple times in a sequence.

Yeah, I think sleep should be rebalanced to be 10 seconds
My old MacBook struggled a little bit to run the game but it worked pretty well for the most part. The sunset against the trees was really pretty and I love the chill dynamic music as well! I eventually tried to venture across to another patch of forest with my tanuki posse but died before I made it.
Nice work! I’d love to see the different actions fleshed out a bit, I think a little bit of variety would go a long way to make this game super fun!
I think we had a few systems that are causing high cpu load, we ran out of time and needed to ship it sadly.
Had a little issue of linux build not working (But it's fine, I compiled it from source and it worked like a charm!)
Also, I like how I'm not the only one who made a game where you are walking in the forest and collecting mushrooms lol. First couple I ate sent me to sleep for 30 seconds so I had to enjoy the sunset for a bit ahahah. I also love the lil racoon army that spawns behind me. Music is quite relaxing as well (And multiple tracks as well!).
