so good I played  it several times and broke the game twice as many

Haha there were a couple bugs we didn't have time to catch before launch.  We were still making final edits with about 20 minutes left to go.  Glad you enjoyed it though!!

the biggest one I found was completely skipping the second last level by grabbing the lantern as you fall through the platform, then turning your flashlight on before picking it up so the flash light stays on and in the same position

This is very well made! Really clever consept, puzzles were nicely balanced as well. It never got to a point where it felt frustrating to solve. Well done!

This is fantastic, only minor issue is the controls felt a bit finnicky and unintuitive. It was workable until the time pressure got added but I couldn't get to the end because of that.

Developer

Did you play with a controller or mouse and keyboard?

Submitted(+1)

Keyboard and mouse, didn't realise controller was supposed, might give it another go with that as I love ved what I saw of it!

Fantastic platformer with smart puzzles (the use of boxes and the thing with the switch on top is superb)! The beautifully melancholic music and the setting evokes Celeste and I love it. You've got something very good here devs, very well done.

Best game so far.
The puzzle mechanics are fantastic and the way you combine them was really fun.

I could see this being expanded with a lot more puzzles. Lot's of potential.

The little escape sequence at the end was nice too and gave me a little "oh that's so clever" moment when I fell from the cliff.

Overall amazing game.

This is so good, enjoyed it a lot! Coming in, I expected it to be a precision platformer, but turned out it's a puzzle platformer with a really well-thought mechanic and theme! I really love the ending. Noticed the skull in the beginning and I was like "why is that thing there?"

And when we reached the monster, I am like "oh is that past and future?" and I thought it was just going to be appearing there but then the ending hits me. Well done. Great foreshadowing, great storytelling, great puzzle. Love the arts.

Developer

I love to hear that didn't go unappreciated!

Super solid game but couldn't get past one of the earlier levels. With more time, I'm sure you could do some better help text. Amazing work!

Developer

Mind if I ask which part you got stuck?

Submitted

Yeah it was the first level with a moving platform. I couldn't figure out how to get the box over the all the way to the button in the top right corner and even less of an idea of how to get back to the gate.

Developer

The flashlight can make certain walls disappear as tutorialized in the rooms prior.  Try using that.  Most of the puzzles are built around shining lights at things to change the world around you.

Great puzzle platformer with cool unique mechanics! Loved the art and the level design, boss battle was great as well.

A short and sweet puzzle platformed game!
