Cool game that fits the theme really well! The text in the tutorial moved a little too slow for me

Thanks for the feedback

Cool game, thank you for making it! Would like to play more, but it loads the tutorial after restarting - is there a way to skip it?
Would be nice for space to move to next part of tutorial, didn't seem to work for me.

Also, I seem to be missing some images:

I ran out of time and didnt make a skip button.

Good catch ill check what is wrong with the icons

It's a nostalgic-style 2D shoot 'em up. The story introduction about losing power felt natural, which I liked. I also enjoyed being able to choose power-ups. In my environment, the hitbox seemed a bit off, and sometimes bullets went through things.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! About the hit box, I also had problems in my play testing but did not have time to fix it :(

Developer

fixed it, thanks

Thanks for the fix! I came back and gave the game a play. My main issues were that the text takes ages to get through without a skip option, and the combat is difficult when the enemies can all shoot at any angle but I'm limited to just shooting upward. I liked all the different enemy textures and types, and the overall experience was smooth and polished. Very nice parallax effect with the stars in the background. Nice job!

.Yeah I sadly forgot to add dialog skip button in the end. I also wanted to make a level select screen but ran out of time.

I took inspiration on bullet hell games that is why I made it only shoot forward while the enemies have diferent types and shooting paterns. This being one of my favorites: Castle of Shikigami

Thank you for the detailed feedback!
