saw this on stream and knew I had to play it, THIS GAME IS GREAT. I was hoping I would get to spell victory by splitting the w as a funny gag.

How does your game represent "Power"?
Your goal is to POWER up the HUB by feeding it the words it needs to level up. At the end of the game, you must use your newfound mastery to send in a stream of POWER to keep the HUB running for good!

This was really creative! I beat the game and quite enjoyed my time with it, trying to puzzle it all out! Really nice work! :D
Interesting spin on Factorio, this is impressive. Might be my favorite puzzle game I've played so far, also your game is criminally underrated this is really fun/interesting. Would be nice to be able to rotate the miners though.
it was really fun trying to figure out what to do and how things worked. it got pretty complex once you had to put together words that were made from more than two segments
This was a neat take on the factory game concept. I especially liked the gate puzzle!
The gate and the incorporation of “Power” towards the end are very clever. Also, the SFX are very fitting. Well done!
This game is sick! It could probably use a few control updates (mainly being able to click on the icons on the bottom to switch machines), but it was a really cool puzzle game!
This game was pretty good! I like the idea a lot, and the dedication to making the belt dragging work is commendable. I only have two issues with the game. First, I really wanted to click on the hotbar icons to select them. Second, I found it kinda demoralizing whenever I got a new word and the last factory I just made was suddenly redundant. I'm sure that is just a symptom of jam deadlines and scope, but I thought I should mention it.
Thank you for the excellent feedback! I also noticed that during my own playtesting, but to be honest, it was partially a benefit for this jam. I had no time to optimize the game, and i found that keeping all the machines for every word makes it start to lag pretty bad XD
In the future though, you raise an excellent point. It would be nice if the player had a reason to keep around the old factories, and games like Factorio and Shapez.io offer some ideas of how to offer those incentives. I'll keep at it! Cheers!
This is a super clever idea! I legitimately laughed out loud the first time I mined IRONY. I think my favorite part though was the sound and feel of everything, it's super satisfying to place lines of conveyer belts and I love the rhythm the sfx make with multiple lines all feeding the hub at once.
I think some simple UI queues would help a lot, it took me a minute to realize there was more game area than the space I started in, and it took me a minute more to find the hub. I also kept trying to click items in my hotbar and ended up placing conveyers underneath it.
Really fun game. Thanks!
Really liked this game! I love automation games and it was really interesting to see how it subverts the normal ore gathering automation through words. I couldn't find any noticable bugs in my ~15 minutes playing. Great job!
Really cool and novel take on the classic factory formula and quite impressive for just a week! Made it to “NOPE” for now but I’ll be back after the jam to finish it. I would definitely buy a full version on steam ngl :D
