Great game!
Thank you!
It's a very good game, i really love it. The mechanics are so good, the sprites, the sounds, the levels design, everything is very good!
Thanks, man. Much appreciated!
You made it in Godot, right?
Can you Upload it for x86, please?
Sure, no problem. I've uploaded an _x86 version for you. Cheers :)
Thanks
10/10
Thanks, man!
Very nice metroidvania, with good gameplay and graphics.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for playing :)
Wow, just wow. I'm really impressed by the orb mechanic and I think you should make this into a full game. Unfortunately it crashed during the third power-up room for me too, on second playthrough it was fine. I didn't manage to play through the whole thing but I was impressed by the orb mechanic, have any other games done it like this? I'd love more of it.
Thanks, man. I appreciate your kind words. I'm sorry about the game crashing. I have slept on it and have some theories as to why it may be happening so hopefully I'll get it fixed and updated after the jam.
Nice Metroidvania game! I can't afford metroid dread, but I'm pretty sure this game is better hahha
Bahaha! Thanks so much, man.
Wow! A very well executed Metroidvania with its own unique mechanic. Orbs serving a dual purpose of holding down buttons were amazing, and the enemies that could turn into orbs was mindblowing. If you wish to expand on this game I would recommend using a grid-based system over the current system to better align with player intent.
Thanks for playing- I appreciate your feedback too :)
Having played most of the games I'd have to say yours is my favourite! Great job, I hope your game gets the recognition it deserves.
Hey man, thanks. That means a lot to me.
Quick note:
The Windows export of Orbitel will sometimes crash in the power-up rooms. This only seems to happen in the exported version of the game, which means I can't debug it. It is also very inconsistent, and only seems to be happening on about 10% of play-throughs, which makes it even harder to solve.
This started happening late last night and while I've done what I can to fix it, I can't guarantee it won't still happen. If it does, you will have to restart the game unfortunately, but it does seem at least, that this is very unlikely to happen on consecutive play-throughs.
I'm extremely sorry about this!
