This was really, really fun and exciting the entire time! Plane controls wonderfully, music is fantastic, and I had great moments emerge with getting dozens of missiles to hit the ceiling, weaving through swarms, and downing airships. I would echo the sentiment of either adding a minimap or even just making the screen a tad larger to be able to see what kills you're getting more easily. For the most part, all the kills happened off-screen for me. This one is definitely in my top 3 for this jam

Cool game with a very good feel for the controls of the plane, really good music. The only thing i would add if this was a completed released version its a minimap to know when you are close to the edges of the map.

I really like the feeling of the controls and flying around the level. The music was awesome too and really fits the visuals and gameplay well.

It felt like the gameplay was lacking some complexity. Maybe add some additional defense options like a deflector shield that you have to point with the mouse or maybe the ability to drop chaff for the missiles to run in to. You could give these mechanics a limited availability and require the player to pick up resupply items.

The other thing is the camera makes it hard to see what's coming up in front of the player, especially when you start to move faster. Maybe have the camera stay more on the center of the player or possibly zoom out as you get faster.

I had a lot of fun with that, great concept, succinctly implemented, and well polished. Really reminded me of the old flash game Dogfight, I used to  play that game all the time in middle school, so it was a nice little nostalgia trip <3

Hi,

this game has some very cool physics! Also, the art-style is simple, but fits the gameplay very well. The idea is also pretty out of the box, because most flying sims just give me the standard guns and rockets. You could make it harder by adding guns on the enemies' planes, so you have to dodge the bullets too ;)

Keep up the good work!

Pretty Cool and Simple game mechanics!

Music sounds cool, reminds me of Ace Combat Series or Sega Genesis's Thunder Force IV. Btw, if you ever need music, you can always contact me!

I like the physics of the planes especially when decelerating and making a circle.

I also love the physics of when the missiles follow the player.

It got a bit difficult when many missiles started spawning, but still really fun.

I would play this game longer if I had more time.

Thanks for making this game!

We may or may not have been listening to Thunder Force IV's Metal Squad while working on this. Thank you for playing!

There's a really nice sense of adrenaline when the rockets are chasing you,  as well as a lot freedom with what you can do to them. Overall a great experience, only gripe is that it's hard to tell the difference between a rocket indicator and enemy plane indicator.
