Very simple, but straightforward game.
I think you did a very good job with the art. The use of dithering in the pixel art and the parallax background scrolling added a lot of depth to the environment. However, I think one thing that could be improved would be the visibility of the signs. At first I wasn't sure what I was hitting as I thought they were background elements.
