Very nice, and loads of fun for such a small game, but small games can be expected with just a week to make them. Adding sound and music would be nice, but of course it's not like I added it! Perhaps learning how to scale your project with the time you have, like I should, would really help you to make even better games, but this is incredible for a first game jam.

Developer

I totally agree. Building small game AND THEN adding features is way better then dreaming about amazing game and have no time to finish even basic gameplay.

Thank you so much for your reply!

This game was so much fun. I wish there was a bit more but I enjoyed the graphics and the jumping .

Developer

Thank you! Your comment is encouraging me to work harder!

I wish i had more time to finish everything. Next time I will do better ;)

Really loved that the bugs are actual ladybugs. hahaha (:

Developer

They may look like ladybug, but actually they are "error bugs" :P On the shell they have exclamation mark (!), not dots :P

Have you tried jump on them? :D

Thank you :)

This is a nice little game, I like that the code and ideas spun and that the idea emitted light, literal rubber duck debugging is a really cool idea, thought it would be nice if the bugs were more of an enemy, as I can just run over them. Having the bugs get squished is cool as well, and everything is nicely modeled.

Developer

Thank you for feedback and nice words. I planned to make bugs agressive when you approach them and then they start to push you away, but scope of project was too big for me. Thank you once more!

I haven’t played the game yet but it’s gonna have to really suck to lose the five star rating I just gave it because it’s a game about rubber duck debugging.

The idea is great :) we both had the same idea of picking up ideas the visuals are nice but it lacks music real bad

Developer(+1)

thank you for the reply. I planned to make "quack" sound on every jump, but time was merciless.  Next time it will be better :)

Actually, I liked the game xD .. Fast and simple but is cool..
If there's music or sounds, it would be great..

Congratulations on your entry for the gamejam
