this game is very fun, although I found some bugs I like the  gameplay and the music, the music is great.

Developer

Can you please tell what bugs you encountered? Like that you like it :).

Submitted(+2)

This game has a lot of potential! just a few bugs to clear up and we have a fun platformer! Great music!!

Developer

Thanks for the nice feedback. We plan to expand upon this game in the godot engine. Any bugs in particular you would like to point out, because I am going to upload a bugfixed version after the jam. (other than getting stuck in walls, that isn't a bug as much as an issue with the phasing mechanics). If you want to here more music by the guy (Yazorius), then check out his soundcloud, here. I hope you will check out the updates to the game when they come.

EVERYONE. THERE IS A MAJOR BUG THAT MEANS YOU CANNOT REACH THE END. WE WILL FIX THIS AS SOON AS THE JAM IS OVER. THERE IS AN INBUILT SPEEDRUN TIMER, SO PRESS ENTER WHEN YOU REACH THE END TO STOP IT. ALSO, IF YOU WANT TO KNOW YOUR SCORE, IT IS 240,000 - SECONDS*1000,

Absolutely in love with the music. Unfortunately I think I came across some bugs and wasn't able to grapple.

Developer

Props to Yazorious for the music, about the bug. That's interesting, are you sure used the grappling hook on those bright squares

Developer

You can only grapple in certain places (the bright yellow squares), as otherwise the game would be completely broken. Are you sure you were doing it right?

Submitted(+2)

I love those grapple mechanics, the game has a lot of potentials, to become a full game. But the collisions were a little too broken, I often got stuck in the wall, but because you added a lot of checkpoints and a reset button, getting stuck wasn't a problem, and that's good game design. But i guess you didn't have enough time to make the game winable, that's too bad.

Developer

We did, but I accidentally didn’t remember to finish the line of code which would take you to the win screen. I am going to post a build once the jam is done which fixes this issue. If you reach the end, you win. It just annoys me because it means it is hard to tell what time you got via the in game timer, so for now at least, you’ll probably still need to use livesplit if you want to speedrun.

I like the aesthetics, music and concept of the game however, I'm not sure if it was a bug or not but I would constantly get stuck in walls. Nice job though!

Developer

This is the biggest problem with the game. The mechanic started off like bug, but then we designed the game around it, so we are considering it a feature. Due to limited time restraints, we couldn’t really change much about it, to stop this issue. We are remaking the game in Godot however, and in this version we will fix this issue.

It's got some interesting implementation of the grapple mechanic, and the presentation is excellent. Little bit of polish (and some bugsquashing) and I think you'd have something really special

Developer (1 edit)

Well isn’t it lucky, that that is exactly what I am going to do! We have plan to take this game further in the Godot engine, possibly even to steam, and polishing up the phasing mechanics and fixing a whole ton of bugs (as well as adding more game to play) is top of our priority list.

Wow it was fun! too bad could not win but still a great work! nice game!

Developer

Thank you!Yeah we found about that bug only after we submitted,if we would've fixed we probably wouldn't have enough time to submit

Cool Game! Really liked the aesthetics, and it was fun (and difficult) swinging around. Really cool!

Developer

Thanks!

Developer

HEY GUYS! Unfortunately you can't win due to a bug . Just come to the end and call it a win!

Developer(+1)

No problem. Even with a bug, this game remains totally just magic ^_^ And if you succeed to correct the end's bug, you can try to upload the new version by yourself and share the link in the comments (I think nothing forbid this friendly solution), for the people enough curious to they want to see the initially planned end. Obvisouly, the corrected version SHOULD NOT be considered for the ratings.

Developer

Thanks!
Fortunately we will be remaking the whole game. In another engine, the engine wall jump uses i never used and i am extremely unexperienced with it . That means that i can't basically use it,and wall jump is learning godot now.
When we remake the game we will add a lot more levels and a bit more linear diffuclty level.
With upgraded visuals and overall better

And yes it won't be for ratings

I wonder who did the art for this hmmm

Developer

I do wonder that sometimes
