It's a very great game! I like the level design, the music, the art the collectables... almost everything! I didn't see much relevance to the way you interpreted your theme though... but that's not a big problem. But I really hated the fact that you have to walk extremely slow. It's soooo annoying! You should've added a sprint button or make the character walk faster.
I like the art, it reminded me of old hand drawn flash games, nice job!
Very good art, gameplay is also good, running animation is a little too fast in my opinion
Nice idea even when, as a villian, you are the hero, i like the system and mechanics, also the upgrades, enjoy the music and art and i just have a complain and it's the hit point, i don't know if it's just me, because no matter how much i swing that big sword, it was random if the enemy recieves damage or not.
Wish you luck!
Ok this is very impresive! Everything from music to level design and core mechanic feels very well made! I could only complain that there isn't much of a reason to kill enemies, because you can just dodge them, but thats just nit picky. Good job!
I really like the graphics, the sound effects were alright, if a bit too heavy on the bass. I also really liked finding weapon and health upgrades. I also really liked the slow player, since it helped portray a sluggish powerhouse, like a final boss would be.
The game could use a bit of polish, though . I didn't really feel the weapon upgrades' power until late in the game, and your starting health is kind of low, given that you can be two-hit killed by the second enemy introduced, the boar. The armored goblins also were kind of confusing.
In addition, while I love the concept, I wish a lot more were done with the theme? It felt more like a traditional platformer, especially given that the enemies in the game were more traditional goblins and so on. Maybe give the player a minion mechanic, or something?
Overall, the game was still pretty good, and I'd love an expanded version!
The game is very nice, the movements are slow but I love the design of the enemies.
I really like the whole idea of your game, you can really see what your game is aiming for. Many graphical things can be polished and fixed but over I enjoyed playing it <3 (I think in some areas the running speed is very low in comparison to the maps size)
