Good music, some nice pixel art. Explosion timing and collision detection need a lot more polishing.
The game looked great, but there were a lot of problems with the gameplay. Mainly a lack of audio and visual feedback (when you get hit, when the bomb is about to explode, when you manage to hit the boss, when you need oxygen…). It’s too bad, I hope you take some time to polish it !
I liked the game premise. The graphics are charming and the music as well. But, in my opinion, the gameplay need some adjustments in order to be more interesting. I have some suggestions, maybe they are worth trying out:
These little improvements can add up to a better gameplay experience. But don't take my suggestions too seriously. Its just my opinion.
Well done!
Thank you for the feedback! We started fairly late and did not get a chance to fix everything by the deadline. All 3 of us devs are new to C# and are trying to improve so all the feedback we get from everyone who has played the game thus far means a lot. Most of the collisions will hopefully be fixed by the coming week and to make picking and dropping the bomb more efficient, we are planning to add a UI timer on top of the bomb to indicate it’s self destruction phase. Thank you again for the feedback!
At begging it was difficult to understand what to do.. after I pickup and release the bomb. The movement of the boss were a little bit glitch... often he got stock in some places and couldn't move.
Hi, Thank you for your feedback! We started fairly late and are quite inexperienced with the unity engine so we didn’t get the chance to fix the collisions before the deadline. Hopefully the game will much more improved in the coming week as we improve the game. Again thank you for the feedback!
