Reused small bits of code from a previous project, and used pre-existing fonts. The rest of the art, sound, music and code were made during the jam.

Thanks for playing, and for reporting these problems ! I agree the second boss could be harder, changing the pattern system of the boss also introduced issues with the timing of the patterns.
About the performance issues, it happened a few times to me too during testing - I’m very sorry it happened to you, and hope it didn’t make the game unplayable ! I may have a idea of what’s causing them, but didn’t have time during the jam to fix it
I really like a smart tutorial, and you nailed it. The gameplay is super smooth, and the boss design is great. Really liked this game!

Love this game! The presentation is stellar and the code is so tightly knit it feels professional. The snake was an amazing boss.
The horizontal movement feels like there's a start-up to the movement, unlike the vertical movement. I wasn't sure if it was a deliberate design but I enjoyed the challenge, made me think ahead!
Nice game, I really like the first Boss, it was just fun to kill him avoiding new heads .. The second boss was quite easy.. I was shooting all the time and move right and left to avoid bullets.

Just found this game from exploration and found it was in a jam. Just letting you know the Flesh Monolith died instantly after I shot it once, which I assume is a bug. [Window Version]
Thanks a lot for playing this first version ! You encountered a bug which caused the boss to start with only 1hp. It’s fixed now and it even got a pattern rework, so please do try it out !
