I liked the game premise. The graphics are charming and the music as well. But, in my opinion, the gameplay need some adjustments in order to be more interesting. I have some suggestions, maybe they are worth trying out:

  • instead of grabbing and dropping the weapon, the character could throw it. This way, it would be easier to hit the boss;
  • The weapon shouldn't explode if I'm carrying it. That just makes the game unnecessarily difficult, I think;
  • The protagonist shouldn't collide with the weapon. I kind of got stuck between a rock and the weapon, and had to move sideways;

These little improvements can add up to a better gameplay experience. But don't take my suggestions too seriously. Its just my opinion.

Thank you for the feedback! We started fairly late and did not get a chance to fix everything by the deadline. All 3 of us devs are new to C# and are trying to improve so all the feedback we get from everyone who has played the game thus far means a lot. Most of the collisions will hopefully be fixed by the coming week and to make picking and dropping the bomb more efficient, we are planning to add a UI timer on top of the bomb to indicate it’s self destruction phase.
