This is a fun little game, not exactly a boss rush but still great. I also tried to build something like this (prior to the jam) using the same assets and fonts you used so I immediately identified everything. Kenney is great. 

I don't think the HUD was correct as it said side buttons to shoot but it was actually space bar which shot (unless I am missing something).

Nice simple game

Neatly put together game and the sound effects added helped the game feel polished, if you work on the game any more it could be really cool if you added some powerups. Also if you have the time I would lobe if you could try my game :D
