How does your game fit the theme?
Diving deeper is how you beat the game. (also the phrase "deep dive" means like studying something, and you study the planet kind of)

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
yes, my friend made the cutscene art and i made the rest

A funny story and a pretty well made little game. Some music and sound effects would have been great, but else a pretty good little jam game. Well done.

A simple game with common mechanics. Not a bad job

Nice idea, and story.  The controls were a bit difficult to get used to.

The cutscenes were brilliant. Finally a game whose storyline matches with the theme :D

Cutscenes was nice. Scanning was a bit hard. Cute graphics. Good job !

Can you try and rate my game ?

Cool design and a bit hard gameplay!

That story board intro was hilarious as well as informative! Scanning feature is also unique and fun. The gameplay loop is a little short, but add in some extra upgrades for the player and some music, and it'll get even better. Great job overall!

10/10 Cuteness-points for the story. Loved it ^^.  Also I think this already works very well once you get the hang of it. I could easily see this expanded upon. As feedback I would encourage you to find a way to make the artwork more fitting in the future. You seem to like drawing judging on the story arc. So maybe draw something analog - scan it - set white Alpha 0 - export as a png and implement it. My game is in a way very similar to yours and that`s the way we did it. My girlfriend drew. I suck at it. I think the mechanics are already pretty well coded. (Props for the swimming animation, whch actualy feels like single slaps at a time).  And for the audio: You just need the most imortant parts (main-ambient-theme, scanning sound, swimming-sound, clicking sound for menus and PCs) rest ist optional if you are low on time. It will work wonders. Overall well done :)

Nice lil game, I like the idea of trying to scan fish to gain points to upgrade. Doing "research" is a nice change of pace.

The discovery game mechanic is a cool idea!

Nice! I loved the background story at the start, added a lot of context to what you are trying to accomplish
