How does your game fit the theme?
The first way Into the Cavern fits the "Diving Deeper" theme is the setting of a mine shaft where you literally go deeper and deeper down into the mine. In addition, as you go through each level you get more hints about what is causing the miners to become horrible abominations, thus diving deeper into the secret of the mine, until when you get to the bottom and you get the final pieces of the puzzle to figure out what happened.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, I wrote all of the code and made all of the assets from scratch.

Really nice aesthetic, but also creepy. I love it. Very nice aswell that you made all of the assets from scratch, I really like when developers do this instead of just copy pasting things from the asset store
Thank you!
The idea is good and I like the games atmosphere. For me the game was a bit too dark, and it's a bit too difficult. But overall a pretty good little jam game.
Yeah, the darkness and the difficulty seem to be the biggest issues. I was mainly focused on the atmosphere, so I'm glad that turned out good.
Thanks!
I love horror games and this game fits the theme very well. The atmosphere was nice but I think the game was a bit dark, if there are more light sources and health bars I'm sure it would be much better that way. I also like the sound effects, good job.
Yeah, I understand if it's a bit too dark. Funny enough, it used to be even darker! I had to up the intensity of all the lights to get it to what it's like today. Probably should make it even lighter though.
Not sure if it was intended, but the enemies lurk and spawn in the blind spots of my dead angles, creating a nice horrifying ambiance.
The enemies spawn locations and movement points are random, but for some reason they like to lurk in the dark. Lucky accident!
Nice game! Sadly it was a bit annoying to play it because it was very laggy, but good job! :)
Oh sorry to hear that! I didn't have time to add graphics settings, and UE5 games can be fairly laggy at times.
I really like it! That was a scary experience lol, the sound design is so good, along the lighting makes it actually scary and tense. I also like the way it fits the theme, I enjoyed it :)
Thanks for playing! My main focus for this jam was the sound design, so I'm glad it ended up good.
I really loved the sound design. I think the atmosphere was really well done!
Thank you! That means a lot!
