I love this art style, very much fits the spooky dive vibes well. I would have enjoyed it a bit more if you amped up the horror element a bit as the tension gradually fell away for me until the ending but it was still a cool and ominous experience
i like graphic
interesting game, but after a while i was able to get out of the cave system, through the hole in the cave and then when i come back, i was able to go through the texture, and even at the very beginning, after double clicking on the "DivingDeeper.exe" file, the game took a long time opened, and then completely hung, but after 2 - 7 minutes it opened and did not freeze or lag
Could you rate my game - https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-10/rate/2236838
awesome graphics and fun to play
Great game! Love the little jumpscare. I also love the graphics and music a lot. Given only a week to make the game, you did a pretty good job!
Wow the graphics are like and old game. Very eerie game
Nice game! That jumpscare with the shoal.... I will have nightmares xD
I want to rate this but would need a ZIP - this version is incompatible with my computer unfortunately. But it looks great!!
I love the graphics and the background, the gameplay is very nice to
The game's environment fits very well to what you wanted to let the player feel. Could you some polishing on some aspects but great job doing it this one week. Great job :)
Nice ambience, I liked the smooth and simple movement. I think If there was a alpha transition on light it would be better. Other than that it is a cool game!
Very fun, loved the artstyle and the concept
I liked it. The theming was good ^^
Thank you for playing!
I really loved the visuals. The game was extremely fun!
Thank you for playing!
Very good immersive experience! Love the dithering effect employed here - it did well to add to the atmosphere of the game. Sounds were minimal, but for a game like this, it is the perfect choice! I was a bit lost in the obelisk part(I honestly thought it was some kind of puzzle involving the Sphinx), but I managed to get past it after a bit more exploration. The cursor in the middle was a bit distracting and would have preferred if it was hidden, but this is simply a nitpick.
Thank you for playing! As for the cursor being stuck in the middle, it is supposed to be hidden the entire game until you get close to an object you can interact with. If it was there the whole time than that sounds like a bug! I'll look into that, thanks again!
Really cool! You nailed the atmospheric vibe I think you were going for
Thank you for playing!
One of my favs of the jam so far! Love the aesthetic.
Thank you so much! Really appreciate you taking the time to play it!
loved the pixelated look. honestly kind of interested how you did that because it would have fit well into my game. Overall cool little intuitive puzzle adventure game. Thank you for the kind words on my game too!
Glad you liked it! For the ps1 style, I used an asset called PSFX. It's a shader/tool that puts a film over the camera to give it that style. I think MIND:DIVE would be a perfect game to benefit from that shader!
Appreciate it!
Really interesting game! I love the pixelated style. However, I think I found a bug. In the red room with the four obelisks, the walls have no collision, so you can swim right through them.
Thank you for playing! Thank you for the bug report, I'll be fixing that as soon as I can.
