You play as an axolotl who must dive deeper into his amphibious consciousness!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes!! It was a challenge. I made the drawings in Procreate and I animated them in Videostar. I made the music with BeepBox and I used few royalty-free sounds. I used Ren'Py.

Fun game, good job)
Fun art style and heartbreaking story. It felt more like an interactive comic or web toon to me, which is super creative and appropriate for what you were trying to accomplish I think. Good work.

I really enjoyed the art style! It was interesting to play, but I got too frustrated on the 6th word :P (I could not guess it for the life of me). I think showing on the screen which letter the player pressed would be very helpful. Also, I played on Windows and I couldn't hear any audio (I'm not sure if it was supposed to be like that?)
Glad you appreciated the art style! (here's one possible solution: i bet i can save her there is a way. After you did it you should see a painting in the main menu and if you press it you get an hit for the final solution! (there are only two words different)). Some of my friend played it on Windows and they could hear the audio, there are two/three original songs and some sound effects. Are you sure there weren't weird preferences on your computer? Anyway showing the letter on the screen is a nice idea. I'm gonna implement that soon! Thank you! :)

That dad is an ####hole haha. I'm guessing he also the one giving the player the "tips".
The game is quite well polished and engaging. I thought it was just a guessing game at first, until I recognised I was typing out words.

How unfortunate! I need to do a software update in order to play your game (because I have a Mac and I can't download it, I need to update Safari) I'm going to do it in the next days!
