How does your game fit the theme?
The game takes place in a vast open world set underwater. The player has to explore in order to survive. This takes them deeper into this dangerous deep ocean.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all of the code. I did not make all of the art assets.

This game is perfect! Well done!
I'm impressed by the content and level of detail in your game, the many resources, the purchases...! The special effects are well done and consistent with the game. Congratulations!
Nice game, it's clear you worked hard on it! :)
Your game is visually incredible and mechanically impressive, but I feel like it desperately needs some kind of in-game guide on what to do, really just anything to give it a general direction. Most of my playtime was spent wandering around not really sure on what to do or if I was missing anything. A broad goal and some basic guide on the game's systems would solve this issue, but it I understand that this is somewhat outside the scope of a week long jam.
How'd you get all of this done?
Things I enjoyed ✔️
Things I would like to possibly see with your title. 🤷♂️
Overall 📓
Great work on this title! It is very impressive! The fact you got this all done in one day is very impressive!
Hey, pretty nice start to a game here! I liked that you could traverse via a submersible but also get out to extract resources and attack enemies. It took me a little bit to get used to all of the controls because there's a lot going on but I'm glad that you had the controls available in-game to reference, it was a big help! Some of the building aspects I struggled with, I'm not sure if it's just not all implemented yet or if I ran into bugs, but the idea is really cool either way. I love the underwater bazooka and definitely blew myself up with it more than once... 😅
You can check out my gameplay video playtest below for some more in-depth feedback!
Thank you so much for the video review. It's such helpful feedback. I clearly needed to provide a lot more messages to the player, eg you can't build a room inside another room and mines can only be dropped outside of the rooms/subs, there's no oxygen or light meter on easy/sandbox mode. The crashes are unfortunate. I spent so much of the time I had packing in features and polishing, I didn't have enough time to find and eliminate crash bugs.
The effort that went into this is palpable. I really like the use of lighting, and the art chosen and music pairs well with the rest! I did find myself a little directionless and not realising what the aim was but overall it was a nice experience!!
Absolutely stunning!
I'm amazed by such incredible attention to detail when it comes to the controls, settings, customisation of the game experience...The music/sound design is something that I truly loved as it goes very well with the overall vibe and visuals of the game.
The underwater light rays really got me: Congrats!
great game and fun to play, awesome art style too
It's got great visuals and atmosphere! I had a hard time figuring out what to do though, and had an crash when exiting the submarine °°
Pretty in depth title, but fun and addictive. Controls were kind of hard to grasp at first though.
Cute game with interesting style
Wow, very cool art design. Love this effects for laser and bazooka.
Nice Job! It's polished and animations are smooth. I enjoyed playing it :)
2d subnautica. Well polished and completed game. It was different from other games in jam. Good job!
Can you try and rate my game ?
fun game, and there's lots of content for 1 week, a tutorial would be useful
