Great art comforts the disturbed and disturbs the comfortable. I felt both playing this game.

I do like the story so I'll try not to spoil anything. I find the concept of playing as a robot in a world dominated by machines quite interesting. I got as far as the part where you can chose to go, North, South, East and West and then I was lost.
My only criticism is that I would have preferred to continue the dialogue with a key press rather than a mouse click, as the button kept moving and became a bit tedious.
If you continue to finish the game, I would look forward to playing it again to get the full story.
Never played a game before where chickens were the main enemy, so that was different hehe. The game was interesting enough for a few mins but after getting more than 4 keys, it became a bit stale. If there was more to do, like activating switches, avoiding traps, the levels getting more elaborate and stranger looking over time, then I could see myself playing for a bit longer.
Quite impressive that you made it in a few hours though and it definitely has potential for more content with the randomly generated levels you implemented
The music and artstyle is very nice. Unfortunately, the biggest problem I had, is that the collision was very off. I was floating above objects and powerups can be stood on but only collected when you walk into them from the side. If the collision was fixed, this would be a fun, fast-paced platformer.
Overall, I enjoyed it. Collecting powerups to go really fast and using the jetpack at the same time was a fun mechanic.
Thanks for playing! I fixed the enemy AI so it stops within attack range of the player. I've been procrastinating modelling the enemies because I am terrible at 3D modelling humanoids but I'll get that done as well.
I'm glad you had some enjoyment with what I managed to do for the jam. I hope to get it finished this month at least.
That story was fantastic! The gameplay loop was very satisfying and became more engaging each time a treasure was found. The game itself was already quite fun as a simple fishing game so I love how the theme has a double-meaning, both diving deeper to fish and to uncover the truth.
This is a very good game, definitely one of he best I've played on the jam.
The models look very weird but in a cool way. I probably couldn't 3D model anything that good in a month, let alone a week, maybe one day. I don't really understand what the story is about but it seems to fit the theme of diving deeper into a person's mind.
Having a choice of classes is nice but the warrior is just a worse version of the mage and archer, I felt. Maybe if the warrior did more damage per hit or had more health, it would be worth it.
Overall, it is a very good looking game and was fun to play with no major downsides.
Wow this is the kinda game I wish I could make in a week, let alone 3 days! Well done for not only making finished game but also a good one. I like the non-literal interpretation of the theme, diving deeper into the past of the main character is more interesting than the ocean or mining.
Only problem I had, is that it is easy to fall off the edge of the world when exploring. Some colliders would have solved that. Although, I had no problems when sticking to the main path and it was overall a fun experience.
For a week jam, this game was a bit too much for me to handle but I learned a lot in that time, so it was worth it. The combat and the enemies are very lacking but I aim to fix that and re-submit the game sometime this month. I also managed to get a basic quest and dialogue system going but obviously I wont update anything until after the jam ends as it wouldn't be fair. I had fun making the environment and music so I am glad to hear that you liked that. Thank you for playing!
Thanks for playing. I'm glad you liked the music. I was very tempted to just not bother uploading but tbh I just wanted the fun game jam experience. I had loads of fun making it and participating in other peoples games. Hopefully, I'll finish it some time after the jam. It's a good lesson for me to learn, not to attempt a potentially month long project in a week haha.
That was cool. After the music changed the first time, I felt dread every time I went deeper. Very atmospheric.
I would have preferred a darker ending tbh, to suit the built up tension from earlier. Also the swimming felt a bit slow, which made exploring seem a bit tedious at times.
Overall, I liked it. The game provided a good atmospheric experience and was well made in a week.
Thanks for your feedback! I'm glad you like the environment. There is not much to do unfortunately as I bit off more than I could chew to be honest. The enemy combat does work, you just have to circle around and attack them from behind. Of course the AI is not very good though so I can understand why you had problems with it. The potions are there to restore health, I supposes there is no way of knowing that though unless you take damage.
I intended to have a quest system but I overestimated my programming and time-management abilities. Thank you for playing what I managed to come up with. I definitely intend to finish it at some point.
The music and character sprites are really cool. I also like how you can choose your own character with different stats. The gameplay would have been better with some more difficulty and puzzles otherwise it was good. Definitely fits the theme well in a more interesting way than literally diving deeper into the ocean or a cave.
I like your model and animations, impressively done in a week. I found a funny bug where if you press "SPACE" on the ship, you can swim around in the air lol. Some more terrain and fish would have made it easier to keep track where you are going.
Overall, I like it. The game fits the theme well and is relaxing.
Soloing games is really fun but it also makes you realise why teamwork can be helpful sometimes. Modelling for me took up like half the time and the models aren't even any good lol. Its not finished but if anyone is curious: https://cyberspacegames.itch.io/a-curious-bounty-prototype
Very good use of the Unity terrain tool! I also like the little touches, like the treasure chest at the bottom. Diving and taking pictures of the fish was a pleasant and relaxing experience. Also, the music suited the underwater gameplay quite well.
Its hard to make a 3D game in a week let alone a good one, nice work.
Cool game. I like the gameplay of digging up resources to get upgrades to make it easier to get resources. It provides a constant sense of progression which is fun. It would have been better if there were more resources the deeper you are, so it didn't feel like you were spending more time, getting less.
Good game overall, took about 17 mins to finish.
Fun game. I got to around wave 10 and then the red whale killed me. I like the music and the steady progression of difficulty each wave. I wish there was more emphasis on the towers than the bombs, as having to rapidly place them can get tiresome. Overall, I enjoyed it and I will try again to get to the end.
