It is possible to use Stable Diffusion AI for graphics?

It's not against the rules. So I'd assume, yes. AI art s not under copyright laws so if it makes it for you it's yours.

Thanks

Personally using ai for art feels like cheating to me but thats just my opinion

I agree.

I can totally get behind using AI chatbots to help resolve errors in coding (really helpful for beginners like me) but AI art just feels like cheating

If it's used for background art, like grass textures or just generating noise, I think it's okay.

I normally use Girhub Copilot at work and also at home. I don't think is cheating. It is a way to be faster. Also about the graphics AI giveas you the concept but you have to modify it. Using the AI images without knowing graphics tools or game engines is worthless.

I have used to generate the game images like this (in HD resolution):

Here is a little video of the game: https://www.reddit.com/user/misterm78yeah/comments/15y6r92/making_a_new_game_for...

I understand wanting to use ai art. I feel it's hollow/soulless just like ai music but I would probably use it if soloing a game, there's only so much a fella can do from scratch.  I guess you just want to make sure you're not prompting other peoples art style/stealing.

I will be quite busy with work from tomorrow, I have released my game at https://misterm.itch.io/spectraride

If somebody wanna try it.

I have updated my game and I have added 6 areas with 20 pictures each area .
