How does your game fit the theme?
With the theme being "What's Behind The Door?", we decided to make a Hack & Slash dungeon crawler, in which no room gives away their secrets, until the door in the center is broken.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
For this game jam, we decided to make everything from scratch, using Unity, except for the background music, which we credited in the main menu.

For the first game it's pretty solid, it works with a few bugs, but I would definitely add descriptions to items, because I can buy something, but I still have no idea what they do or if they do anything.

The speed would also be greater for me and that can certainly be improved by greater diversity and more enemies that do something different.

It would be also better if more animations and textures would be added,

exaple, sometimes I didn't knew what happened after I broke a door or if at least something happened.

I also miss Txt from gold, because I don't know when I get it

That's basically all for so far.

I don't know how many people made that and for how long, but now I give it a 5\10.

It's not bad for the beginning, but otherwise nothing exciting.

Thank you for the feedback! We will take it into account for our next update or project!

I didnt find the shop :P Nice effects the sword was nice.

Thank you for playing our game!
There is a small chance the shop does not spawn on a floor, but in general, every floor has 1 shop.

Developer

Thank you for playing the game! We've had feedback that the camera shake needed to be toned down a few times.

The camera shake, particle effects, and the audio made the game super fun and engaging to play... so satisfying!

Loved the juice - camera shake, blood particles! Really polished and well built. Overall, making the game evolve and rooms not become repetitive would be my only feedback.. Well done!

Developer

Thank you very much for playing, and thank you for the feedback!

Loved the camera shake and particles, it made the game feel polished and well produced. In terms of feedback, I think adding a map which slowly gets revealed could have been a nice feature

Developer

Thank you very much for playing, and thank you for the feedback! We'll add it to our list of features to add!

Love fun design with all the camera shake! Why the little table for enemy spawning, not that it is wrong or bad, but every room had a round table to bash and spawn enemies, just wondering, it was interesting to have to bash a table to spawn the enemies in most rooms? 4/5 good job!

Developer

Thank you very much for playing our game!
The tables are supposed to be the doors that "open the room".

Got it, just occurred to me! lol

Good rogue like. Battle was a bit trivial after i got the bow, and a map would have been really be helpful. Also it could use some more incentive to just go further. I got all items quite quick. I quite liked the visual presentation. Some more interesting enemies would have been fun. But for a jam game, its quite a complete package.

Thank you very much for playing, and thank you very much for the great feedback!

We will use the feedback when updating the game, as we think it definitely is lacking some variaty.

I loved playing this game, the impactful sound effects and particles really added an element of fun. I'm a sucker for dungeon crawlers, most of my favourite games are dungeon crawlers. The game is very well polished. It was kind of hard to play with a trackpad but that won't deduct any marks. It gave me "Enter The Gungeon" Vibes with the npcs and the variety of items and weapons. Overall 8/10 game :)

Juicee Impacts ,Maybe making objective clear what to do would make great experience

Developer

Thank you for playing and thank you for the feedback! If we were to update the game post-jam, we will definitely look at making everything more clear!

That powerful screen shake...

And the guards really don't like when you smash the barrel thingy :D

Developer

Thank you for playing!

I like how the game feels - you clearly made effort so that hits feel impactful (perhaps even slightly too much - my screen was shaking violently!). The little square guys look appealing, items (and especially the shop UI for some reason) look really good, sounds are quite cool

But by the time you get to 3rd level, it gets *really* repetitive. I got to lvl 5 400 gold and it was kinda tedious - same enemies, same enemy placement. It got even more boring after I bought the staff and couldn't change it back, it was just left click spamming.

So, the premise is good, execution is really great, but definitely needs more variety. When playing I thought that some movement - dash ability perhaps - would really fit with this.

Also sword >>>> staff

Developer

Thank you for playing, and thank you for the feedback!
We had some ideas for making it less repetitive (more variants, more enemies, more rooms, bosses, etc), but unfortunately didn't get around to implementing it.

I also definitely agree sword >>>> staff!

i do like it alot but i would like if there was some kind of ending to the game or some kind of goal the game feels nice i like it

Developer

Unfortunately we weren't able to add a boss, which we had as an idea as well.

Thank you for the feedback!

Very satisfying and a good game. It becomes much harder as you reach the next levels—my fingers are killing me, haha!
