I have to wonder why pressing Space could accidentally click the Pause and defend button when I shoots. I also wish Morpel could respond my input faster so I could move and shoot to defend the crystal.

That being said, after some retries, I could win all levels. Having blocks to add your defense is a good idea.

i love the look! Everything beeing animated made the game feel quite polished. Only thing i would critique about the art is the pixel size of my small morpel. When doing pixel art it is advised to use the same size of a pixel for every asset. The smal morpel felt a bit out of place because their pixel were smaller. Overall very inspiring submission because everything was made from scratch.

Nice concept! Very 80's (or earlier) arcade-life. It didn't feel much like a puzzle game - I just put the blocks around the diamond and blasted away at the enemies. The movement felt very stiff, I had to wait longer between each movement than I felt I should.

Cool concept. I like how you have to physically push the defending blocks around. The 1 bit art style is nice, and the way your character squishes as it moves is very satisfying. It's a bit easy. Would be cool if there were more enemy or block types.

Fun concept.  Beautiful and simple in a good way.

I love this game
