Working on improved gui...

Very much appreciated.  Updated to resolve these issues.

I started building the "hd/windows-only/paid version" of Space Hotel.

If you would like to contribute with occasional playtesting you'll get a copy, credit and appreciation.  Discord

Thanks for the comment.  There was originally a "heart" icon that was just ascii that broke in the web version.  The @ replaced it.  I think it is in the game over screen just might have the wrong name.

Thank you.  I think the balance isn't quite perfect yet.

I did wonder if I should make it more turn based and instead wanted to just try a timer you could turn up.

I could definitely see adding more airlock options.

Great use of the theme.

This was amazing.  Great game.  Great use of the theme.  Nice work.

I got the couch stuck on the roof lol.

Thanks for the feedback.   Definitely will add a tutorial if I keep working on it.

It's supposed to kinda mix city builder and rogue-like, the rogue part making it hard and forcing you to lose to learn.

Maybe these genres should not be mixed lol.

I ended up being surprised how expansive this is.  Love the character and spaceship art, cool to fit in all those unique environments and a second game mode.

Very juicy.  It felt like I was ice skating around a holodeck with a revolver.  Skeletons satisfyingly explode when shot.  Nice work.

This turned out really nice.  Good work!  Gameplay, art, sound all go perfectly together.

Fun fact - the interface design is inspired by the "Lcars" GUI from Star Trek the Next Generation.

Very cool setting and style.  Love the little spaceship dancing to the music.

Fun gameplay, good challenge.  Everything - art, sound, gameplay -  fit really well together.

I don't think I've ever played a game where you pick up the abilities one at a time.  Cool mechanic.

This is so good.  Very polished.  Beautiful art.  Tight gameplay.  Good balance.

A couple mechanics short of a game but what's here is well executed.

It would be interesting to try with the light on the player pawn (like a flashlight) and then the mouse only places and removes blocks.

Either Im really good at this game or it is impossible to lose. :)

Lovely art, cool original mechanic

It's on discord / youtube. Theme:  "Limited Space"

Agreed - definitely needs better balance.

Selecting another item does it.  It turns out that was an awkward choice.

Thank you <3

I totally agree.   Thanks for the feedback. It's a lesson learned.

I built for desktop, spent the last 2 days getting it working "ok" on web.  Should've just released desktop only and focused on balance and bug fixes instead of web performance.

Very cool icons.  The city builder with flood is a really cool ideas.  Really nicely done.

Cool, weird art style and player controller.  Physics based gameplay.

It's like reading a book or painting.

It's deep, cute and (full disclosure) I made it.

Excellent entry.  Beautiful art and concept.

Loved it.  Simple, beautiful graphics and gameplay.  Would be great if buildings highlighted the tiles they were affecting.

Amazing character art.

Thank you :)

Cool atmosphere, firing the cannon was fun.

Very cool art-style.

I originally went to the forest without an axe and couldn't interact with anything or leave.  That was confusing.

Love the character art!

Well polished, simple artwork but it's good looking.  Fun to play.  Nice work!

Amazing atmosphere, well polished.  Very beautiful work.  A top game for the jam for sure.

Amazing original art.  Really wonderful atmosphere you've created.

My favorite part was how the froggies got all serious.  Nice submission, very in theme.

Thank you so much <3

Thank you for your kind review :)
