I can grasp the big idea behind this game, and I think it has a lot of potential. Many things can be developed further, such as obstacles and strength/weakness of each character. Each character's strengths should be integrated and complement each other to solve obstacles and achieve goals. Looking forward to further development, I think it's going to be a lot of fun.
I really like the idea you were going for with the 3 robots with different skills and how they all had to do things to get to the last stage! The graphics were also cute and worked well with the music. I think the length of the first environment could be shortened a lot because all the walking got pretty tedious--without the description I wouldn't have known there was a 'desert' environment with the final platforms because it was so far away. I think the length could be okay if the terrain involved more jumping/platforming so it wouldn't just be holding down the arrow key, and maybe with 'shelter' areas from the rain! Also, I liked that you could repair the robots once they were damaged
I like the concept a lot but most of the mechanics didn't feel fleshed out enough to feel impactful. The red robot had to mine once, the blue robot had to collect once, and the green robot had to jump twice. Just not enough time to really feel each robots unique abilities. I did like how the game looked though and it sounded quite good too. The storm felt unsubstantial cause you could just e and revive though. Overall a game with flaws, but a decent one for the jam. Good job on your submission!
I really like the idea of being able to switch between different robots! I think it would've been a little better if there wasn't so much walking involved, but I still liked the rest. It was a nice touch making the robots lose health in the rain!
Great game!
wow. cute game. good use of kenney assets . cool.
also can you rate my game aswell.
Super cute game!! The sounds and graphics are perfect!
It took me a bit to understand what I had to do but it was very clear from then on. I like the idea of the robots having different abilities. I imagine this game would be very fun as a game with different levels to solve, a bit like a puzzle. The way to walk to the end felt a bit long but that's maybe because I'm thinking of it as a single level in a game. If it was made into a longer game I would adjust it but the way it is now is perfectly fine.
The calm and storm phases felt balanced and I like that the time between changed with progression. I also like that the rain damages the robots and that you can repair them.
Very fun game with lots of good ideas! I had a great time :)
Your comment made me really happy. Thank you for taking the time to play it! :D
Looks so cute !!
Love the artstyle and the concept of alternating characters.
But it was a little boring walking so much in their low speed with rainings that i couldn't avoid to finish a puzzle that i had already understood. Maybe in a final game smaller levels could work better. Also the ground is to high in the scrren.
Overall a lot of potential!
I agree with the critique of walking a lot. Originally the map was smaller but I wanted to compensate for the little content so I made it bigger so the player would suffer through walking Lol. Thank you for playing! :D
The style is cute! I should have known the rain would short circuit my robot, I was in shock lol! Nice concept, music had me head bobbing.
Cute looking game! I did end up not using any of the robots but the green one to finish and couldn’t figure out what the others were meant to do unfortunately. But I loved the music and visuals!
