Cool art style and character movement very well implemented. Unfortunately, my reaction time is not enough for this style. But the level design is great.

How does your game fit the theme?
There is a calm area which transitions into a much harder storm focused area.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything apart from some of the audio (and font) were made by me all from scratch.

Game is really good, love the art and sounds. Maybe I'm just bad at parkour/platformer games, because I found it really hard for certains levels with the zap mechanic😅 Otherwise, it was fun, good job for the gamejam 👏!
This game is fantastic! The art style really stands out, and the fluidity of the gameplay is impressive. I loved how the levels are challenging but manageable, keeping me hooked. The zap mechanic could use a bit more visual feedback. Overall, it’s one of the best platformers I’ve seen in this jam. Great job!
Yooo art is amazing love the gameplay, also this is just my game but better. Love it
pretty cool 2d platformer, interesting mechanics. Challenging
Fantastic and challenging game! I love the art style and especially background. The fluid movement and quick level transitions and restarts definitely activated the speedrunner part of my brain lol. My only piece of feedback is I would love to see the zap have some trail/animation to it so it's not just an instant teleport. Great job!
AMAZING game tbh. The movement felt snappy and fluid, the graphics were charming with a really good palette choice, and the sound design was pretty nice too. The levels were well made, with mechanics introduced slowly. It's definitely one of the best platformers I've played in this jam so far.
Neat game, I really enjoyed the picked colors, art style and the audio. Players controller was pretty good too, which made the game really fun. There were occasions of me starting to walk on walls without me intending to and zapping into the wall and getting stuck but nothing serious since they were rare (the second one was rare at least).
Zaps introduction could use some work, maybe some warm-up sections without spikes to get used to it. I was confused for a while before it clicked :)
I couldn't get past the level where the spike was moving and there are two zaps at the bottom. I was able to get to the jump boost. But the jump booster didn't get me high enough to get to the final zap. The game was fun and I liked how the music changed to be more intense after it started to rain.
Couldn't get past that one level with the moving spike wall, i'm afraid TvT
The game was fun though! Adorable little pixel platformer with quite challenging (to me, at least) gameplay. The visual style is pretty to look at, and I found the rain sounds quite calming, which provided a funny contrast to me constantly dying as I try and land an extremely tricky series of jumps and "zaps". Overall the experience was pretty entertaining.
Well done!
Great game!! A bit weak with platformers but I could notice some clever designs and very cool movement system. I am really surprised you could make this in 1 week. Music and sounds were as good as can be. Couldn't finish the game will try again later and let you know once I finish it.
Kudos for making such a great game!!
15:38 and 238 deaths on the first go. 4:30.38 on the second with 48 deaths. Really good graphics and visual effects. I feel like you succeded in making what I wanted to make but didn't know how. The controls are good, though getting any height with the jump proved difficult. Some of the levels, the last one for example, you need to know a trick to get by, but then it becomes easy.
I'm glad you tried again for a faster time, and those are some pretty good stats! Appreciate the kind words, but I started game jams like... 2 weeks ago so I'm sure I'm not far ahead. If you have any questions about anything game dev/platformers specifically feel free to ask! I'm sure you can make what you envision next time with some feedback and having a few tricks in the bag. Also agreed the vertical movement was the thing I had the most trouble with haha. Without walls getting vertical height ain't easy so level design had to be very horizontal focused. (Agreed on the trick levels too they definitely need some touching up). Glad you enjoyed!
The graphics and gameplay look really good! It plays like some of the big platformers like Celeste. Judging the distance of the zap is a little difficult, but I guess that's part of the difficulty. I found a glitch(?) where you can keep the zap after death if you get it at the same time as dying. Otherwise great game!
Incredible game. That art, animation and sound effects are on point. Good job!
Ohhh my god, how could I not see this gem before? This is an amazing platforming challenge, with a good difficulty scale, precise movements, quick respawn, and a simple but beautiful art style. Congratulations, this is one of my favorite games so far and as a Celeste fan I can tell you that it is AMAZING, you achieved the feeling of playing a GREAT PLATFORMER, thanks for uploading this! 10/10
I will really appreciate you if you could adapt this game to a controller, since I really suck at keyboard and I get stucked in one of the latest rooms.
