I REALLY liked the concept, but not a big fan of the execution. This games visually stunning for a game jam, but from the way the description reads it looks like you didn't make any of the sprite assets on ur own, so I can only really score the graphics based on the UI which I assume you made on your own. On the browser version the UI didn't function very well, lots of elements getting stuck on screen, most of the UI wasn't even visible unless I full screened the game, but I thought it was a serviceable attempt at making some assets! There's a lot of really weird stuff that makes the game not really feel good. The camera shifting so drastically from left to right is jarring, the enemies not really getting knocked back from  combat makes fighting feel kinda weird when you have to flick right then left to kite with the camera controls, plus I got stuck in the water because there was an enemy I could barley see, then died landing on thorns and only could tell i was taking damage by looking at my health bar.  Maybe having your character sprite flash red when you take damage would help with the overall conveyance of this game, but i think the biggest issue was just mostly conveyance and controls.

I won't deduct any points from my rating for the AI title screen, but im not a fan of it.

I don't know how to advance the dialogue, but overall the game is very nice. Good work!

good core concepts, would like to see it fleshed out and polished

put the keys closer together, space and enter is difficult for me to hit on my keyboard, and then needing to switch to mouse to advance dialogue is a bit cumbersome, have keys that advance dialogue too

There is a core game in here that could be executed well given more time! I appreciate the effort. The assets you used really appealed to me, so I thought I'd give it a try. Not a huge fan of the AI generated title screen, but to each their own.

More visual feedback would be super helpful. knowing when I am hitting an enemy and when I am being hit by an enemy is super important in these types of games and typically my hp going down isn't enough of an indicator.

The boar flashing was helpful, but it stayed white after the first hit. The bees didn't have any visual indication of me actually hitting them and I got stuck in the hive with no way out and nothing to kill me to reset so I had to call it quits even though I wanted to play further.

Cool game concept! i like that you expand the village and do quests to expand it! tthe combat system felt i little bit lacking, but other than that i enjoyed it. good work

It's a game with potential, the core is there, the main gameplay is build. With more time this game could be a nice little RPG type of game I think.

The art is very good real nice done on that. Tho a tutorial or indicator where to go would nice to help the player.

Also indeed change the keybind for dialogue , changing from keyboard to mouse is annoying haha.

So nice! There were some visuals bugs  in the tiles sometimes but it was fine and looked great a part from that. Great entry!!

Wow, this game is truly impressive! The level of detail and creativity is fantastic, and it's clear that a lot of effort went into making it enjoyable.
