How does your game fit the theme?
Why "Calm before the Storm"? Well, the quiet here is the last summer break before you off go to a very difficult university.
The storm? Well, you complete a large amount of timed tasks and try to not get expelled, while also managing your social life!

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Most of the assets used are either my 3D models, or CC0 textures for buildings and such. Also a mix of my and Public domain sound effects. But I did make the intense music!
Shout out to my brother who helped me with the cover art, and will also create a trailer in the next few days!

Expelled multiple times as I am apparently unable to do the most basic math when under a strict time limit. Eventually beat it though, I enjoyed it! I love these stressful but in an insane and fun way sorts of experiences.

Well done.

I would recommend publishing the game as an executable rather than a zip file, as it stands I couldn't install it through the desktop app, instead having to go through my browser, which was a lot more clunky.

Haha, I'm glad you enjoyed it and got to the end successfully! And yes, I'm glad you also struggled on the basic math, exactly as I planned.

I don't really have experience with publishing for the itch.io desktop app, but since you mention it (and my friend also had problems with this) I'll definitely look into this issue. Thatks for lmk.

Glad you enjoyed it tho!!

I'll ofc check out your game when I get up the next day xd

Believe it or not. I felt relieved when I beat the game and Summer came. Damn this was stressfull. Im amazing, I was able to get ripped in all this crazyness. Thank god.

Concept seems fun and the art looks goofy and quirky in a good way. Wish I could play it, but alas, I'm on a Mac.

I don't really publish mac versions of my games since I have no way of testing these, but maybe I could try next time I get a chance. Good point.

I'm sorry in advance for the large file size. The game initially had 300 MB, but it resulted in an issue where you couldn't load the main gameplay level, so I had to re-upload the game with everything cooked in.

Hope you enjoy it regardless!! Which ending did you get?
