I really liked the idea. It's like a game made up of minigames!
Fun idea and presentation! Also liked the plot twist at the end. There could be a satisfying audiovisual effect when you get through a minigame, right now they just end abruptly.
Loved this way of storytelling. A lot of fun and the twist at the end was hilarious. Great game!
Oh wow I really enjoyed this game. Very interesting interpretation of the theme. Love it!
Great game! I love it ;D
Very cute game, especially the ending! Loved the vibes!
Enjoyed the mini games for story telling and enjoyed the music! Loved the ending and death parts
Charming and sweet, the diversity and humour made it very fun, i found it profoundly satisfying on an odd level.
I really like how you interwoven the interactive game into telling a folk's story. The game captures the emotion from the old man's story, and the story provides context and hints on what the player should do for the next section. A harmonious yin-and-yang approach to given a laid-back somber sea story. I also loved the touch for failing a mini-game and the ending segment that seamlessly loops back to the start screen.
The only thing I would critique is the audio mixing, as the ambient music suffocates any sound effects from the dialogue and gameplay sections.

That’s good feedback, wkmin1! The audio was really last minute, we definitely would have loved to add more SFX and mix the audio properly, but our brains were jelly by the time we wrapped up.
I FUCKING loved this, that was insanely good. Great job!
Thanks, darakyus! Enjoyed your game too!
Very cool game about an old man recounting his glory days sailing the seas and fighting the legendary giant octopus kraken thing. He has a thing for fast food and drinking with a win glass. Pretty cool game!
Wow this is really well done, well polished and overall a great experience!
Game design: 5/5 fun with the different minigames and the story
Fun: 5/5 minigames are fun!
Innovation: 5/5
Theme: I'm giving a 4/5
Audio: I'm giving a 3/5 because I wish there were more sound effects and more sound overall
Graphics: 5/5 beautiful art, really really well done
Great work!
The story is great, and the audio adds so much to it. The ending was a nice surprise!
the visuals are amazing & the narrative was so charming + nostalgic! i loved how the game's story is the sailor recounting his experience at sea. whenever you fail a mini game, i think it's charming how he says "wait, that's not right," because he survives in the end. great game, y'all!
I liked this game, i got a bit confused at the second mini game, not being aware the ship below was mine. The only thing this game needs is dialouge fast forwarding. other than that pretty good game. and the ending is great
That’s good feedback. Thanks, prof!
Wow, very impressed! The writing is great, and helps weave the various minigames together so nicely. Awesome job!
really nice! only feedback is it would have been nice to have been able to speed up the dialogue.
Thanks for the feedback!
That's amazing! The visuals are great, the mini-games are very interesting, and the ending is really funny;) I think this might be the best game at this jam. I only regret that it's so short((
Thanks a ton MassterMax, that's really kind! We had a great time putting it all together.
Several mini-games, a short but well paced story and a funny plot twist at the end, a very well polished game! :)
Thanks for the kind words, Miguel!
