How does your game fit the theme?
The game is only a prototype now, so it doesn't currently fit the theme, but the idea is that you will have three days of calm and one day of storm. Most of the gameplay loop happens in the calm—when that feeling of dreadful anticipation is heaviest. I wanted that dread to be an important part of the game.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No. I used two art packs, and there may be portions of the code which were copied from YouTube videos (though I couldn't tell you which). All are credited in the game's description.

Very Cool!
Good attempt, feels fun to be able to destroy everything by spamming attack. Hanging off a cliff using the character's head was surprisingly funny, though I wasn't able to use it to get to the boulder on top.
Thank you! The ability to hang off a ledge was mostly an accident haha, though I much prefer that over developing an actual ledge-grab system. Hopefully I can design an actual character that can still hang off ledges in the same way. Though using that for puzzles--like getting to the upper area--could use some improvement, because I agree it might be a bit too hard to get up there.
Too bad you didn't finish in time, would love to see where this goes! I rly like the edge-grapple mechanic, and props to you on going for the Parallax Effect background, we tried that too in our puzzle platformer! :D
Thank you 😊 and yeah the parallax background is doing a lot of work lol
Great start. Love how the resources that are dropped have physics.
Thank you 😊 I wanted the pickups to be part of the world, not just hovering entities. Glad you liked it too!
Good start. Keep going...
Thank you, I certainly will! I think the full game should take about 4-5 months to complete 😅 definitely got way too ambitious
