How does the game fit the theme?
It's a mini interactive fiction game with quite a bit of unexpected turn of events. Nothing can go wrong if you like chaotically connected, absurd events.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Only the audios. I grabbed them from itch.io free assets.

How many people worked on the game?

Nice visuals, interesting take on the theme.
Quite an outstanding concept, I liked it, although I died pretty fast -_-

aww :( Luck can be a bit of a harsh mistress sometimes :^) Thank you for playing and commenting!

Very original and funny. I loved the dialogues and events, and the graphics look very good. Maybe another font for the UI would have matched the pixel art style. Sometimes the game would reset the citizens quantities and I had to set them again, which was a bit annoying.

Cool game :D

This was so fun! So many of the situations made me laugh out loud, like the woman trying to bring her dog back from the dead, or the sarcastic "..." when I didn't investigate the behemoth. I played it through twice because I'm a resource management addict lol

You are my favorite person this evening :) Thank you so much for playing!

Our games are similar in meaning, but made in completely different styles! It's quite funny how different you can implement similar mechanics. The game is cool, I wish you good luck!!

Thank you so much! I tried your game too, and trying similar games to my is a pleasure. It even makes me feel a certain kind of familiarity with you lol. It is quite pleasant to communicate with such a person  :D +rep

Nice. UI kinda sticks out of the pixelated village, but the village is really beautiful! Nice work!

Nice. The village is pretty, I wish the UI was a little more optimized. I liked the events, however it did feel a bit hard to get into the game with nothing to guide me on how to balance my villagers. Thanks for making this!

The game looks very promissing. But I couldn't get it running on my Linux system. I've assigned system keys to Alt-1/2/3 and won't change them now all just to try it. Maybe you should provide configure options or alternative button controls. I'd try it in future if you update after the jam.

Developer

Aww :(( I'm so sorry to hear that. I can upload a new version with a start button, but I'm afraid it's against jam rules as you also indicated. Thank you for trying my game, and for your beautiful comment!

The dialogues are so funny and the season change of the village is so beautiful. I think it will be better if I don't need to write the number of workers everytime villagers dies (sorry for the villagers ;(

Developer(+1)

I'm so happy that you say that :) I totally agree with the numbers thing. I, probably, won't let that happen ın future projects! Thank you for playing!

Great art and music! Chill experience with some fun dialogue choices! Some minor nit-picks like no easy unpausing.

Thanks! I should've also put buttons to speed up the game I guess, but I feel a bit lazy at this point hehe
