I don't think I'll change the combat to that extent at this point. People have already made so many maps with the current way also. Maybe in a sequel if I decide to make one one day :D
Yeah I intentionally left out some events which could trigger constantly to avoid lag, like donations. I could definitely add unifications as they are rare!
I did it this way because I wanted to show how far the frontline changed during the war. I could do it the other way but I think this is more interesting. But I may change my mind later
Hmm. Maybe. Though if you are making maps, I would suggest you make them in a separate drawing program, which should allow for easier overlaying, just make sure the colors are correct and it isn't too big
It is available for Mac on Steam, so buy it from here and activate the key on Steam or buy it from Steam directly. Buying the key here gives me a bigger cut :3
Eh, I don't think I'll update the itch demo any time soon. I think it works as a good time capsule and first taste, and if people want a more up to date demo version they can try the mobile version. But maybe I'll change my mind in the future, especially when the full game is done
They do work on older maps. Though small nations still show the old way. And it seems like in the screenshot there is lots of crossings which is not considered when placing the big name
No, I won't do that, sorry. The current demo works as a good time capsule and introduction page. Also paying players would be very upset. Also I don't think the current version would even run on browser :D
It's a bit complicated but each tile has its own "AI" to determine what to do. I had no idea what Cellular automata was but at a quick glance it seems like its somewhat familiar as to how mine works.
You can download the latest version from your Library (top right corner). If you don't want to keep downloading newest version, you can also claim a steam key and use that if you have steam
I kind of feel like that doesn't really fit the game, and if you would like a specific event to happen at specific time, you can just manually do that yourself. So seems like too much work for something the player can manually do if they want
