How does the game fit the theme?
Escape from a prison, getting caught once sends you back to the start. This is relevant to the theme "nothing can go wrong..." because one mistake and absolutely everything can go wrong.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All assets made from scratch.

My eyes really hurt trying to play this game, it's way too dark and a bit frustrating when you get caught and you're pretty far out 😅

As for improvements, most people have already said them -

  • Too dark, hurts my eyes
  • Checkpoints please? :(
  • At the edge of their paths, the goblins sort of "snap" into a direction, instantly ending your run
  • More goblins takedowns 🔪

great gameplay. wasn't able to find the exit but I had some close calls with goblins

I understand the theme of restarting the entire escape, but the already played portion isn't fun enough to me that I enjoy replaying it over and over. The knock out mechanic is cool, but I didn't know it existed at first because you can only do it while they are standing still.

Pretty cool stealth game, have fun playing, the art is vibe is also pretty dope it fit the theme of escaping a prison. I feel like the detection light and the question mark on top of the enemy in the game could be brighter so it is easier to spot the enemies cause the light is quite dim and sometimes I cannot see them haha.  And sometimes the enemies abruptly turn like 180degree and I get caught without having much time to be able to react, not sure if that is intended but maybe the turning speed could be slower and give players some reaction time to hid to nearby walls

Cool game! It's actually really similar in mechanics to my game which is like this but instead of goblins it's guards and it's a heist.
