How does the game fit the theme?
It's just a chore? Nothing can go wrong! Literally! (Don't die)

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I did not make the healthBar, that was borrowed from a previous game.

How many people worked on the game?

It is great! You managed to add so many different things but I feel like its a bit easy to get lost? Perhaps its just me but yea :)

Summary:

Ui tutorial was well done, easy enough to understand what to do.  I really like the use of going back to the house after each level. Providing more of a story driven focus in the game and task completion visible for the player.

What I want to see:

  • Cutscenes of the story with more animation.
  • mechanics introduces in the shop. Maybe more than one way or tool you can buy in the shop to complete a level.

What I want think should improve:

  • Consistent tile map is needed. Pixel resolution needs consistent (32x32) should stay at the same.
  • More guidance on the direction on the level.
  • Providing a skip button on the dialogue, providing a audio button within the game.
  • Polish on the shop, provide more readable text within the shop as well.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll probably be doing a bunch more gamejams in my lifetime, so I'll use this advice for basically forever. Thanks for playing my game!

A very straight forward game! Can definitely use some polishing, playtesting and over bug fixing but for how big the levels are its quite well done! Good job!
