thanks for playing. And yes remember I played your game on stream haha!

Summary: The game dialogue was good. Was quick and fast to complete. Very understandable on what to do.

Improvements:

  • Sound setting sliders.
  • Consistent art (matching same borders and tilemaps), polishing y-sort for characters.
  • Player movement and replace player sprite.
  • Indication for player that the game has ended if you are doing a linear storyline.
  • Title screen art & webpage art.

What I'd like to see:

  • More levels.
  • improved characters art.

Cant play game.

Limezu art is always a solid though I wished there were more stylized. Nice easy mechanic since I have played a lot of others with the same concept so it was easy to follow.

very pretty art. I wish sound setting slider was available. Kinda made me jump with headphones on. Overall very cute.

Gameplay was good no issues playing the game. Very nostalgic. I did wish the card turn was a bit faster when telling me what they enemy layout was. I honestly didnt think I needed to know but nice. I liked the tradoff cards more than the revealing (kinda ruined the surprise). solid game and mechanics the bullets were slightly hard to see.

we appreciate the feedback this is great. Yeah we have a balancing thing where the puzzle is part of the challenge. But making hints makes it too easy. maybe we can have it where the cook button is accessible once the ingredients go in.

Interesting idea on the rating system.

any suggestions for new gameplay?

we found that that the hints provided would Ave made the difficulty too easy. we plan to replace the trash button so no worries! Thanks for playing stay tuned!

that looks tasty! Meat and ???

nice!! Meat and ???

The art reminds me of penusbmic style.

I like the predictive game. I've seen it alot of similar concepts prior so it was easy to follow.

I think the game has a great concept design. I honestly wish there was more to the sprite art over the boxes something more comical overall. but I think post jam is a perfect time for that polish.

very similar game to what we made. Similar inspiration from little alchemy i take it. Love the design and ui tutorially was better done for sure than ours. I actually like the perspective a lot more and will definitely take notes on this as a reference later. Im saving this for post jam updates from you guys so please keep working on it. great job.

the audio was pretty funny overall. kinda hard with some of the collision boxes. Maybe some more better way to indicate how close to failing you are would help. funny game.

Felt reminiscent of sonic. The gravity especially felt like none existed.

Some of the improvements was the visual ui needs some polishing. This was most of the screen  even after pressing the button. I had to try a different browser to fix this issue.

This really scratcheddd the itch for my need for more animals in this jam. Loved the coffee concept very easy to follow and understand.

I think for improvements better animations on the sprites more frames could be done. Some more options sliders as well. Minor polishing.

Good job!

The intro was very well done. Loved the mechanic of revealing everything. This was really great and immersive experience for me to play through. The narrative style was really great.

Improvements that I think could be made:

Visual sprites improvement really took away for me the game experience which felt serious and professionally done.

I think an audio slider is needed it was very high volume set.

(1 edit)

Summary: Overall I like the direction that the narrative was going with. I could easily see the vision that was in place for the game and the theme. I liked the intensity of the choices picked. I felt the buildup pretty well in the game. The sound design was jarring in a good way to help with the atmosphere.

What could improve:

  • Ui consistency within the game.
  • Better UI responsive feedback for indication of which is the active label for clarity.
  • Sound setting slider.
  • Slow pacing of text and provide more calmer music.

What I'd like to see post jam:

  •  More takes on other perspectives.
  • Intrusive thought words pop-up distractions. (immersive experience)
  • Calendar system continuation.

Really loved the art and cutscenes. The art drove this home for me. Like the UI design as well. Overall great time. I think maybe a hint button for repeated attempts wouldve been nice haha. I am bad at video games though. Great job.

due to the time limit we left the responsive incorrect vs correct to the SFX. (Maybe have this turned on next time) as it was present in the game. We plan on adding some names however more hints make the puzzle too easy for the game itself. We have something in the works. Thanks for playing.

glad you got your download to fix in time for me to get it going.
Cute sprites I liked the style you are going for in this.

For improvements maybe add some more UI in line with the palette more. (Minor)

Loved the pixel art visual for this game. Kudos for the  isometric challenging to accomplish and implement so well done.

Art direction lead the way through the game. Hardest part of the game was determining whether or not you were doing well in the game.

What i want to see:

More monster interactions within the game.

What I think can improve:

UI guidance in the game.

Floor UI indicators with which doors are on which floor.

Meter bar to indicate how well you are doing.

Great real life concept take on this theme. Really nailed the mark!

I wish there were some more interactions after you placed them in the wrong spot maybe like some groans of disgust to  indicate where something went wrong. IOverall cute game.

The game provides a quick and understandable start to the concept. Easy to know what to do  to get going.

I think to improve you could adjust the visuals of the ramps so it is less jarring on the eyes.

Maybe allow for increased think time when analyzing the levels. (Start button or a loop system)

I would like to see gag items that dont fit in either bin containers.

UI indicator for knowing how many are going to come out of the color box.

  • Above the boxes for indication.

Fixing the options for minor polish.

Summary overall the game is very innovative for sure. Great game very frustrating (in a good way).

what could improve:

  • minor bug fixes, minor polishing
  • reaction time for moving platforms
  • Palette colors

What I like to see:

  • More levels
    • Vibrant colors do different things.

Summary: Overall I enjoyed the art style of the game. Definitely seem inspiration from the anime death parade.

What I'd like to see:

  • More narrative pathways based on decisions
  • More conversational dialogue choices
  • Bartender responsive reaction based on what you make.

What can improve:

  • Simple bug fixes post jam results.
    • margin containers
  • Reapproach the combat
    • diminishing value for spamming same combinations
    • alternatively one selection choice. Maybe not needed to fight the boss more take it a narrative route.

The visual art was nice. Music was pretty loud at first.

Some things to improve on:

I think art wise - I would focus on nailing down the perspective a bit more. The candle top didnt match the rest of the amazing art it was almost too perfectly square to match a burning candle. Really a minor thing so not knocking this down.

UI - I think the UI could've been put more effort in. The explanation of the game mechanics as well could be nice to add a tooltip.

Really recommend an audio settings slider.

The visuals of the game were very pretty. I think more tutorial would have helped explain the UI a bit more.

Overall the unique art style is what kept me playing for the characters.

What could improve:

So the platforming didn't really fit the vibe of this game for me. It screamed more cozy platforming for me isn't really a cozy game. That being said for platforming the gravity felt a bit light.

What I'd like to see:

I prefer to see a different mechanic implemented into the game to match the cozy feel. More interactions of the characters. Maybe a town search and find left to right movement rather than vertical jumping.

I loved this guys art asset packs. His work is great. Though I noticed the forced selection of character with the helmet. I wished I could've seen more with the witch itself. Maybe a timed based event the second time around. Overall good feel of the game. Wish sound had a setting slider. Good job.

This game shared similarities to another I just recently played Gno something. So the pickup was quite quick to get a grasp on things. I enjoyed the 2.5 D in some aspects of the game.

The title screen art and the game art didnt quite match but I see the connection. Same with the UI.

I think the above is what I would improve to polish more overall for the game. Work on some more shaders to be used for 2.5D. Maybe more movement in the outer rim of the backgrounds (darker area)

What I would like to see is more interactions with the incorrect combinations.

I would also like movement system of furniture.

Great product within a short amount of time.

Summary: Overall I enjoyed the unique take on the theme and the innovative game design. At first I thought I was the X however I realized quickly what the radar meant.

What can improve:

I think overall there are a few quality of life like sound setting sliders for headphone users. Also a skip initial cutscene dialogue for restarting game. Needed to wait through a few times.

What I'd like to see:

I think more levels.

More indication me getting lost in the library I was confused what that meant. It was only after the 4th time I realized I had fallen off the map.

Honestly the audio is what sold me on this game. The laughing narrative made me and my wife crack up to play it again multiple times.

What I'd like to see:

  • More audio inserts besides laughing. Funny commentary in voice.

What I think should improve:

  • Overall game mechanics need to be better. More visual UI should be improved.

This is actually cat simulator. 100% can confirm its just cats.
