How does the game fit the theme?
At first everything seems to be normal (Nothing can go wrong). A peaceful place where you can build your empire. Until goblins start attacking your empire from everywhere.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Graphic assets where mostly from pixel frog.

Its really good, some complaints are that i wish it had a restart button and a tutorial but other then these two its awesome, art looks good, audio is great and fun and engaging gameplay
8.5/10 :)

Nice Work !! For real, it is a great and different game from other entries I've seem. A tutorial and more feedback - like when my peasant is building I would like to know when it will finish - would make the game a complete experience

The game looks great, the art is coming very well together. But I stopped playing because the game is not saving for now. Somethings to fix, why can I delete my only builder, I moved the castle one time and then I was kind off stuck until he built the thing, one time I couldn’t move left to right but zooming in seemed to resolve the bug. Anyway keep up the good work!

Very nice feeling of the game sir! If you make things more clear in the game maybe this could be the best thing ever

its a really cute game, but my peasant seemed to be confused how to build. hes still there to this day i think.

Pacing could use some work but, love city/management games impressive you made one in just one week!

First off, well done! This is great, especially for your first game!

I had fun playing. I like that you don't have full control over the battles.

It's a bit slow in the beginning, as others have mentioned. Maybe have the early upgrades and buildings cheaper? In the end I felt I lacked the resources to progress. I had chopped down every tree, killed every sheep and picked all the pumpkins and mushrooms. They just didn't respawn fast enough so I idled a lot.

Another thing I noticed was that the goblin buildings respawned, but they still had the "clear the rubble for 1200" message when trying to attack them again.

Hope you had fun making it. Would love to play it again if you choose to continue working on it.

Game is pretty fun, here are some upgrades you could bring:

-Missing informations on duration of construction, maybe a loading bar would be great

-Two click for a action is a bit long, maybe do the action if there is only one

-it's pretty long to collect gold at start or maybe i'm missign something

overall great funny game

Thanks for trying it :)

Great game especially for a first try!

I like how all the assets come together nicely.

Few improvement that I think might be good

1) Not sure how and where to start (Consider adding introductions or tutorials)

2) UI was not the most intuitive, took me some trying to realize  what each buttons does (Consider adding words before the icons or tutorial will greatly benefit here)

3) Having to chop each tree individually, or attack each building individually.

4) I spend some time waiting for the goblins to attack but they never came at least for me. Not sure how long am I supposed to wait

Nevertheless, great job on completing the game and all the best! Cheers!

Thanks for testing my game :)

It's crazy you built this in one week, by the way which program/game engine did you use to make this ?

Developer

Thanks. I made this in Godot
