How does the game fit the theme?
You are a peacekeeper tasked with bringing peace to the continent. Of course, nothing can go wrong or the continent risks a nuclear exchange or a repeat of the Great War.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
None. We did take inspiration from NationStates for some of the events, though!

How many people worked on the game?

really cool concept. is there a way to se how a decision will affect a country? its a little hard to play without that info.

No matter what I did, I never saw the Peace or War progress bars progress. It was also a little bit annoying to have to constantly flick back and forth between the event and country info. Concept was really cool though!

Interesting game! It is quite slow though and takes a while for the bars to change, and the gameplay isnt really active (and the clicking sound should be more subtle), but The events are really interesting and the fictional countries feel realistic, I like the names aswell!

I like it. The events beg for artwork, but that would be a lot of art to produce.

BTW: I played for a while (maybe like 8 years in-game), and didn't see a tick on either peace or war, so I gave up. Felt like I wasn't going to make any progress. Probably I need to re-read the instructions and get good, but just thought you should know.

I understand why it's repetitive given the time constraints, but this is a very cool idea that I feel like would really turn out great with more time put into it! Nice job on this one!

Love the idea ! I played a game called Suzerain which reminds me of this.
It's a real pity there weren't more events... Would love to see this with more time and polish :)

Really interesting concept, I like the gameplay and all the nuanced mechanics, the tutorial presented info in a nice way, but there's a lot of information so some form of visual feedback would be nice (for example when having a nation generate you peace, or highlighting red when close to striking nukes). Also the events feel a bit repetetive, for the first couple years it felt like I was just getting the same 5 events over and over, a good idea to fix that without having to add more events would be to just have the game progress faster, (for example by getting more influence points, faster peace progress etc), also they could happen between random 2 countries, as it seems predefined rn. I also really liked that choices had consequences, for example satura becoming a nuclear state.

Overall a very solid concept, the gameplay loop is nice, would love to see a post jam update for the game that would make it a bit more fast paced

Thank you for playing!
Yeah, the game is really lacking in the amount of events, due to limited time.
Again, thank you for the detailed feedback - we'll keep them in mind!

Very cool idea, even though the gameplay feels a bit repetitive. Would love to play an updated version.

Whoah, that's a LOT of content for a jam game. Kudos.
