Very interesting concept, the only game even close to it in this jam. I liked it, though I found the gameplay slightly boring at times, though when the timer got shorter and you had to move quickly, it became very enjoyable. Audio and graphics are on point, and the interpretation of 'holes' is great and very unique! Very well done.
I'd appreciate feedback on my game, Donut Wholes, as well!
I find this game not too difficult but, there is too little time, so I must act very quickly. I've enjoyed playing this game. I' ll be glad if you play my game.
Nice premise, though the timer kind of forces you to try and act quick, and possible make mistakes. Good work for the jam though, and liked the idea of holes in memory rather than physical, kind of metaphorical take on the theme
Nice! Feels a lot like papers please.
And the model looks awfully similar to Eve from Wall-E.
Sound effects are quite nice!
I found a bug - when you try to quit the game you get an error on your browser.
Also our games are game name buddies :)
The robot was inspired by Eve and the gameplay was inspired by Papers please, so you are exactly on point. I am aware of the bug. The game was meant to be played downloaded so I used esc to quit but that crashes the game in the web browser. Will be checking out my game name buddy :D Thanks!
What I meant by game name buddies is that the games that we made for this gamejam are similar (mine is memory lane, yours is memory hole) and that's kinda nice haha
Really interesting game! Would love to see it expand!
Thank you! I don't want to see the code ever again but I am glad you enjoyed it!
Very nice! Love the concept, at first I was a little confused but then I understood how to play it, great job!
Yeah I wish that I could've done a tutorial but I couldn't get to it :( thanks!
I don't believe it is absolutely required to make tutorials for games like this. I personally enjoy it when a game doesn't hold my hand too much and I can learn how to play it on my own, it's part of the fun! :)
Well that certainly makes my job easier :D
Great job! fun fun fun
Thank you!
Papers, Please! I love how all the info I need is available on a single card. Great job!
Thank you! I wanted all the info to be compact s I am glad you liked it.
I love the concept of the game, super unique.
Thank you very much!
This is the most unique take on the theme I have seen! Love the little robot and the smooth animations as well!
Thank you I am glad you enjoyed it!
I love the audio, visuals, and concept! I never would have thought of something like this for the hole theme. Very creative!
Thank you! I really have the entire Brackeys Discord to thanks its a combination of many other peoples ideas and a bit of salt and pepper from me.
These robots remind me of that robot from Wall-E. Well done designing the game
That is absolutely what I was going for. Thanks!
You welcome
I like the robot animations / sfx :) I played a lot "Papers please", I can see the inspiration here hehe :)
The feel of "Papers please" was exactly what I was going for, I'm glad you catched that. Thanks!
uuu... I love the robot design and animations.
Creative use of the theme. Good work.
Thanks a lot!
Wow, very nice game idea. The Graphics and the audio is also very nice. You have done an amazing job here. Respect!
Appreciate it!
Love the Paper's please style with a twist. Only thing would be that it'd be great to see more variety in robots.
I do agree. I wanted to have different equipments for each type of robot and a whole lot more. Thanks!
Really cool concept, I really like this one. Very creative and looks very polished.
Thanks a lot! So much time went onto the polish.
Really cool concept, I really like this one. Very creative and looks very polished.
I liked the way you made it possible to move the pad around. Maybe make it a bit more intuitive, as it is at times confusing.
I do agree. Right now there are only texts and buttons on the tablets and basically no tutorial. I would love to change that. Thanks!
I Developed this game for the 2020 Brackeys Game-Jam with the theme "Holes". I am grateful to anyone who may check the game out and even more so if you comment with some feedback.
