Very well polished game. Loved it. Fits the theme really well. Check out my game at https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/724912

Very good jam game. Game design is on point! (btw, i noticed there is bug that if you restart first level, message screen wont go away)

Thanks for playing! We also noticed the intro text bug after submitting it and the submissions were locked- luckily the first level is pretty easy to navigate even with the intro text, and it goes away after the first level. But definitely a good call out- we'll be fixing that post-jam!

Really fun game. Not much feedback to give, the golf take on the platformer and dying and rewinding is... awesome :)

Wow... amazing game jam game. I'm going to give some feedback, but for being made in a week, it doesn't get much better than this.

First thing is that pressing Z to rewind feels unnecessary. You basically have to die to progress, so respawning automatically would work better in my opinion.

The only other thing is that the actual rewind feature (although cool) gets a bit old after a while, and doesn't actually add anything gameplay wise. If you skipped it and just spawned with your ghosts, the game would go faster without losing much.

That being said, the art is great, the sound is good, the controls are tight, and you clearly put a lot of work into this. Fantastic job!

Thank you so much for playing and for this great feedback!

Regarding the not auto-rewinding and having to press <z>, I think you have a point and we considered it early on, but we realized that since clones have to be a 1 to 1 replica of your past self to stay in sync, we wound up with a lot of clones just standing in the beginning, there may have been away around this though. Definitely something we could reconsider.

I think we could absolutely stand to either speed up (It’s capped at 6 seconds but this quickly adds up) or remove the feature altogether to make the game flow more smoothly.

Again, thank you for this feedback.

Extremely clever game design and fantastic execution.

Very nice game reminds me of 2 games i have played, "Use Boxmen" and "Clone Armies" both of which have the same cloning mechanic...overall very nice game! Good Job!

It's one of the most polished games so far
- intuitive ✔️
- clean readable art ✔️
- good controlls and game feel ✔️
- rewind theme ✔️

the only criticism I have is, imho this rewind mechanic (altho fun and functional) is not very creative/uniq

but overall great quality
