In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player uses divine time magic to "rewind" enemies.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All of the art was made from scratch, I used a few different store assets to help with UI, dialogue and music, and the game logic was made by me in Playmaker. I have licences to everything I used that I didn't create.

It would be better if there were attack sounds. Kicking the creeps without getting hit is far easy, but I didn't mind it. But when we face the final boss, I expected a huge boos fight.
Visuals are great. You've got nice talent also in music, keep up with making games!
Thanks! Music is licensed though, I wish I could make those tracks in a week lol.
Wow looks great, animation is top notch!!
Dialogue is funny, and love the kicking them back in time idea..
Only problem is that it's too easy.. I mean I get "nothing matches my divine power" but lol needed more thoughts on gameplay, maybe some obstacles and some hidden areas? idk.. Overall it's pleasing to look at but not much to enjoy..
Good work on the visuals though.. ur an artist for sure!!
Hey, thanks for playing!
The art and graphics are awesome and I liked the fun "divine kicking to the past" idea :)
The game was a little easy and short of course - but you if you add some more jump&run style obstacles, platforms and pits you have yourself a very nice casual game. Keep up the good work!
Hey, thanks!
Oh wow, the art ... Its absolutely beautiful. Game feel is top notch.
The enemies were too easy, they did not even attack me once. I think it did not match the theme at all.
Thanks for playing, and thanks for the compliment! Yeah, I wish I had spent more time working on the gameplay and less time tweaking the art/animations haha.
That was a beautiful looking game, well done on the art! For criticism, perhaps the game was a little too easy. For example, he enemies take a long time to wind an attack and get dunked on pretty easy by the archangel (then again, it's an archangel). It was fun jumping to see the animation, but wish there was some platformer element to it to make use of it. Like I said, the game visually very nice! Good thing Cuddles is safe :)
Hey, thanks for playing. Yeah, I definitely messed up my priorities here haha. I'm embarrassed to say how long I spent tweaking the jumping, and it's completely pointless lol.
Pretty good, game ! I enjoyed the theme and the gameplay was well-made!
Thanks!
Hi UnrighteousSoftware! You left such a thoughtful and articulate comment on another game that I wanted to make sure I gave yours a try -- I'm glad I did! The game was short, combat was too simple, and it didn't tie particularly well to the theme. Having said that, all of the art and the animations are properly beautiful! Everything from the Archangel's graceful forward kick and ascension to the skies to the flailing oni demons and the peaceful scrolling backdrop. Even the dorky, stylized Cuddles sprite has its charm. I'd love to see a fully developed game in your style. Seriously, keep making games and art!
Thank you!
The art is good, I especially like the demons. My main feedback is that it is too easy, the level is just flat so you march forward for a bit and there's cuddles. It could stand to be fleshed out some more.
Yeah I wish I had used my time a more wisely at the start to flesh out the game more. I spent the first two days (which were my days off) just working on the main character and animations. Lesson learned! Thanks for playing.
the art style is very good, but I couldn't understand the relationship with the jam theme.
You can work very well with this style in a game focused on narrative with mythologies or something like this. good job !
Yeah, I realized too late that it wasn't very clear, but my idea was that you're rewinding the enemies to the point where they're babies. I actually made that mechanic the night of the deadline which was a very bad idea lol. Thanks for playing.
Thanks!
