In what way does your game fit the theme?
You need to clone yourself to pass the puzzles together

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I made everything for this jam by myself and during the jam period. The only two things i didn't made was the font and keyboard keys sprites which i gave credit in the game page

I really liked the idea and the execution of the game, it was really fun and interesting! The only issues I found was the screen tearing, and I found a wall with no collision. (I just fell off the map). These are only minor issues though, great job overall!

Developer

thanks for the feedback. I looked again in all levels and found the problem on level 4. I will submit again with improvements after the rating is over

And to fix the screen tearing, in Godot you can go into project settings and search up "pixel snap". You need to enable that. That should fix any screen tearing going on. I have made that exact mistake in the past and this is a super easy way to fix it.

Congratulations, this is my favourite game in this whole Jam

Nice game! Loved the art style, and thought the clone idea was good. The jump mechanic could use a bit of an improvement but other than that it was great.

I loved this one! Very cool puzzle designs and mechanics were interesting too! Movement was pretty satisfying, especially when jumping. I really like the backgrounds, but the foreground tileset looked a little out of place.

the game is really fun, graphics are great and the idea is really cool.Good job.

Would be nice if the main character would be faster, otherwise the game is pretty good. Though I think the jumping mechanic can be quite clunky at times. Nice game!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, i am receiving a lot of feedback about the speed. I think i will change how big is the space you have to walk too. It will help a lot.

thanks for the feedback!

really polished

Really nice game but would like the WASD keys to be supported.

P.S. I would really appreciate it if you could check out my game.

Submitted(+1)

Really nice game, the art looks neat, and sound effects fits well. Good Job

Submitted(+1)

Very nice! The tutorial is very very good, simple, not too slow, effective. The challenges are fun to figure out. I would personally make it a little bit faster, specially the movement, as some parts are tedious to do over and over again with a slow character. Good work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback. I will give it a try after the ratings. I can play around with the speed and/or the distances to walk!

Submitted(+1)

I LOVED IT!! it was so cute, the art was fantastic, so was the music, I thought the levels were fair and chalenging, and it was just SO GOOD!

Submitted(+1)

Good gameplay and level design. Difficulty builds up well, good tutorial.

Developer(+1)

Thank you, i tried hard to keep it smooth and i will polish after the ratings are over.

Submitted(+1)

Cool! Could you try out my game too?

Developer (1 edit)

I tried but i can't, i use godot too. You have to zip exe with pck file to distribute for windows. Export as html5 and let play in browser.

Submitted(+1)

It wasn't working for me when I did this but could you help? I'm not really that experienced with exporting. When I export it and try to open the HTML file, it says 'Failed loading file 'Join Robots.pck''

Developer

that's because you can't run locally the html5 file. You need a server to do it. If you click the g5 icon on top right of the godot it will run with a local server on your browser.

At the jam page when you submit you have to upload a zip with all the html5 folder content inside. I don't know if you can change the page now but try to reach the organizers

Submitted

Thanks! You're right, I can't change it now but I'll definitely change it after the jam.

Really interesting game! I clipped out of bounds a few times but was mostly pretty smooth. Love the character sprite!

Developer(+1)

I played and tested a lot to avoid that but sometimes things escapes from our eyes. I will improve this after the rating period. Thanks!

Submitted(+1)

I really enjoyed this one. Not that much to complain about, and impressive amount of work done in a week.

Looks good, feels good, sounds good.

I'm jealous of your skill.

Great work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks you very much for the kind words. It was the first time i tried to do everything for myself.
