It doesn't fit the theme at all.

I wasn't able to complete the first level (after tutorial) because the portal would not take me in (I guess I had to collect all the stuff for it to work, but I wasn't able to get one, above the red square).

No audio, very basic graphics.

But hey, good job on making a game, that's an achievement in itself :)

The game design is really good, and it fits the theme perfectly.

Needs some polish in the "collider" department I think. Was getting stuck in some vertical walls sometimes, and one of the "bois" getting destroyed because of some glitchy wall movement.

No audio however :(

But all together, good job, I like it.

Seems like a very polished and challenging game. Sadly, I'm not able to get past the high mountain of spikes early on so I can't judge it fully.

Design is well done for the most part, I can see it being fun, the game seems original. Graphics are great, audio is good as well.

But it doesn't seem to fit the theme that well. I have critiqued other games for the same problem, that they have powerups, and picking up powerups (multiple ones) makes them "stronger together". It's just a powerup, you're not really working together, or helping each other out, you're just consuming milk, which makes you stronger, but destroys the milk.

Nice concept.

This could be very engaging to play, once polished.

Good work.

Thank you for the feedback!

Indeed, everyone dislikes the controls to some extent 😅

Thanks for the feedback!

Controls seem the most disliked part of this game, so we definitely should have addresses before 😀

It was game over for me rather quickly.

Please no one try to replicate this game in real life! :D

I think it fits the theme rather well, and it's done rather well. There's probably a lot of time to spend on this game.

Good job!

Simple but nicely done. Controls a bit frustrating, but there's nothing wrong with their implementation, they are just a bit hard to get into.

The destination zone lacks precision it seems, or it is not clear which part of the rocket / triangle needs to be on it completely.

Other than that, all good, well done.

Fits the theme well, good idea.

Nothing much to complain here, art could use improvement, audio could be little bit less repetitive, but that all comes with time.

Good job.

Thanks for the feedback :)

You are correct, we don't have any artists to just work on the assets, so we had to limit the scope to no animations. It would have been a much nicer experience. We should have probably focused more on the movement as well.

Thanks for the feedback!

I agree, I also felt like a minimap would have been useful, as I often used the Scene View of Unity while playing. It was out of scope for us this time.

Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, the dash is mostly useful only to get over some obstacles like water, which is necessary in Level 3, but it was implemented late and not very well :D

Well the orbs are like powerups, they're not like a separate entity. They give you an extra ability, but they're really nothing on their own. So when you say "Stronger together" I imagine persons / entities cooperating on a task.

The character art is great, I really like the animations. The ground is a bit bland, would like to see more texture there.

Enemies aren't really doing anything, they are basically lava - just don't touch it. Sadly there's no audio.

Certainly needs more polish, as there are some bugs, but overall some impressive bits, and decent execution.

Well done.

I like the art style and and how all the things work together. Controls felt a bit clunky, and waiting for the laser to reload was a bit annoying, considering you have to keep your eyes on the meter, or just try to avoid shooting as much as possible.

I don't see how it fits the theme, apart from the story aspect, I was expecting it to be noticeable mechanically as well. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Good job altogether!

Well the game mechanics are taken from Pikmin, but it does fit the theme quite well. It is well executed.

I can see this being a fun game once more polished.

Good job.

Very nice concept. I'm not sure how fun it would be down the line. Pushing the blocks around without being able to control exactly where they are placed and how they are rotated did not seem like a good experience. But if adjusted it would be much more pleasurable.

Well done!

Very well done. It looks good, and plays good apart from zombies going off screen after a while (when running into other objects). But yeah, I am impressed that you managed to do all of this in a week. Well executed!

Well done, enjoyable game. It's fun, and with update graphics it could be a pretty good game. I like the mechanics of it. Good job.

Interesting concept, but it's buggy. The NPCs following me would get stuck and would just shake in place. It would be great I could have more than one NPC follow me, otherwise it's not possible to save them all.

Sadly I don't see how it fits the theme of being stronger together, when they are just running away from the bullies. If they would fight them collectively, it would make more sense.

Well done anyway.

I thought the music was awful and often off-key.. until I realized that its me jumping that's making the "off-key" sounds :D The background music is nice overall, and it would be nice if the jumping would play an appropriate note for that section of the song.. but that's a very advanced thing I do not expect in a game jam.

Graphics are very nice, the mechanics are good and challenging. Does it match the theme? Not so much, but you made a pun out of it, so there's some points for that.

Well done.

It's very rough around the edges. Audio is pretty awful, has to be played in full screen, buttons not properly clickable.

I think this lacks a lot of polish, but it could be an enjoyable game down the line.

Good try.

I thought it would be a easy win, but then a rebellion happened.. and then another one.

I like the idea, but a lot of polish is still needed. It's good enough for a gamejam :)

Good job.

Start of the level is annoying, makes you immediately jump before you can assess what's going on.

Doesn't fit the theme "Stronger together" at all.

But I like the gameboy style, and the graphics.

Dialog needs to be speed up, and somewhat skippable.

I got stuck once I enter the piano mode. Piano mode is a nice feature, but I'm not quite sure what am I supposed to do. Replicate the song that plays while interacting with the girl? I certainly cant do that by just hearing.

The game looks nice, and sounds are great.

Well done, good art, good design, interesting approach to the theme. Impressive.

Art style a bit inconsistent, but I like that you added character animations, even if some blank characters seemed to remain as placeholders.

Audio is missing as well sadly.

Good effort though!

Nicely done. I like the idea, and the game controls very well. I can imagine it being very pleasing after it's more polished. Background music is nice, it fits the mood of the game in my opinion, and doesn't get very repetitive.

That acid seems only a problem at the very beginning where there's a lot of them, but once I grew bigger, I was far away from them, so that's something that would need adjustment. I like the way acid breaks apart molecules, by flinging them away and not just destroying them.

Minimap is a nice feature for this game to have, well done. Maybe it would be nice if the camera unzoomed a bit when you collect a molecule, so that you can see what's around better.

I think graphics are something were there is a lot of room for improvent.

Well done!

Thank you for the feedback! Speed seems like a commonly reported problem for us, and it's something we should have adjusted earlier.

Thanks a lot, I wrote my comment before going out, so I didn't have a chance to try it. I will try it out now and send leave you some feedback :)

Thanks a lot for the feedback! :)
There is a limit of 9 monkeys that you can carry, but I assume you're thinking of it being even smaller.

I agree about the speed as well, that's something we should have adjusted before release.

I really enjoyed this one. Not that much to complain about, and impressive amount of work done in a week.

Looks good, feels good, sounds good.

I'm jealous of your skill.

Great work!

I like the graphics the audio and the idea of the game, it fits the theme perfectly.

The controls are too complex however, couldn't get past the second level, I had no idea what to do there.

But good job overall.

Thanks for your feedback!

You can "lure" the hunter (there are hunters that hunt monkeys, and they are dressed as monkeys) by making the hunter follow you instead of other monkeys. Once you get the hunter close enough to the tree, the game should progress.

Picking up individual pieces of wood and stone is quite annoying, so would be nice to have it auto-pickup.

But seems like a very nice game, with good atmosphere, thought out systems, so could be fun to played when polished.

Great job!

Looks good, sounds good, but doesn't seem to be very well designed. Had trouble to get even to 200 points, because there's very little control when you go super speed.

Good job however!

I think it's a good idea, with nice style, but it's not very fun to play in the current state, do to how controls and interactions feel, and also the whole "have to play in fullscreen", which chrome didn't allow me to do (thankfully firefox did). But that's all solvable with time.

Audio is gets a bit too repetitive too quickly.

Good job overall!
