So glad you liked it! I realized like a day in that we were basically making speedrunner among us dustforce and I think that look worked out well enough. Definitely would have liked to have been able to implement clearer instructions for people. Regardless, still happy overall.

Thanks! Glad you had fun. A movement rewrite was one of the things I wanted to do but sadly ran out of time with everything else, still it serves its purpose and you're right that most of the game's fun is in the minigames. I utterly adore how the art came out and it was great motivation whilst putting things together to see all the cool art I was being sent.

I am absolutely in love with that art style, it's like a cursed contemporary daggerfall.

Using the phone's battery as a game time limit/turn counter is a good concept. Much like real scammers I found I could get a pretty decent amount of success by just wildly spam clicking. All in all still a good idea.

I am not very good at this game, but it's a great concept. The words of encouragement are a wonderful little mechanic and I would love to see a wider variety of them. Making the notes a bit more distinct from each other would also probably be good just in case someone is colourblind. Still, lots of fun!

I had some good fun with this. I definitely lack the fine motor skills for optimal play but the entire thing just feels right for a dexterity focused score attack game. Some form of powerups and maybe some oomphier sound effects would be great additions imo. Still, good fun!

This is a really cool concept and I'd love to see it fleshed out some more! Obviously far beyond gamejam scope but a game where you build a deck and then combine it with your opponent's to face off and build weird creatures would be a lot of fun.

Thanks for playing! There is a skip button for dialogue but from this and a few other comments I agree that I should have both made it a bit bigger and also that I should have implemented the option to skip through text by clicking. A more integrated tutorial would definitely be a big bonus and something I would love to add at some stage!

I utterly love the art in this game and dice assignment mechanics are some of my favourite in board games! The little dice tray in particular was just such a nice bit of art that also tied in really way as a presentation of what you rolled. From a UI perspective I personally would have liked for the effect that shows which tiles a purple die effects to stick around whilst you're placing other dice, just because it's easy to forget. Also ofc a greater variety of dice would be great but for what it is this game is great!

Thank you for playing! Really glad you like it, I've touched on it a few times in replies here but you're definitely right about the difficulty. It was a bit too hard in playtesting and I've likely overcompensated a bit. Lots to consider for future games!

Really cute game! Art was simple but worked great, I would have really liked to be able to move a little faster but still a good time.

Thanks a lot! You can see the effects of an event on a tooltip when you mouse over the event but I think there's a lot I could have done to make that a bit clearer. If I had more time I know I would have focused a lot more on the card design to pack more info in to deal with that exact problem. Still, great that you had fun with the game!

Thanks! Yeah I think there are some things that could be done to increase the difficulty. A couple of the playtest builds were a bit brutal so may have overcompensated in the opposite direction!

Thanks! Glad you had fun!  There's certainly some difficulty tuning that could be done in places, if we ever have another look at it I'll probably add some more events and make things a bit harder.

Glad you liked it! For The Hive!

Thank you, we're glad you like it!

Thanks!

Really nice little game concept, I really enjoyed the enemy designs

Really really cool concept for a game, a little confusing to begin with but I definitely think there's a fascinating puzzle game at the core of this!

This was a weird and fun time, thanks for making it.

Had a great time with this. Loved the general mood and found the soul mechanic really interesting. Would be great to see a more fleshed out version!

Glad you like it! Yeah I agree the slider precision could be a bit tighter, maybe by having arrows either side to just change one number. All good to consider for the future.

Thank you!

Thanks so much, the original working title for the game was going to be "Papers Bees" so I'm glad the aesthetic comes across. Over the project we also wanted to merge in some aspects of office workplace hellscapes and I think it came out good! (Fun fact: Nearly all of the dystopian "inspirational quotes" between levels are real "inspirational work quotes" from google that I edited to be bee themed)

Really loved this game, the art especially was great! The snails were definitely my favourite!

I thought this was a cute little game! Really like the art style, would be nice to have some more sound effects. Overall a good time!

Glad you liked it! With a longer jam we'd have definitely loved to increase the time span of the game, it would be great to add more events to the deck so that there's even more variety without repeats showing up. We'd also probably have to add some more mechanics to keep things interesting but it would be a fun project.

Thanks, glad you had fun! There's a skip button for dialogue but it should definitely be more visible, I also agree that if I went back I would add a way to click and skip to the end of a line of dialogue. For The Hive!

We're so glad you like it! We wanted to go for a kind of crypto-soviet aesthetic kind of like Papers Please (the original working title was Papers Bees). Over the week the style kind of shifted to being a mixture of that and nightmarish modern office work. For The Hive!

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it!

Absolutely love the art. Had an issue where the movement keys wouldn't work when the game was fullscreen but otherwise a cool game!

The characters were cute, fun little game

Really cool little game, kind of like Thomas was Alone mixed with VVVVVV. Maybe a bit hard in places but I loved the graphics.

Cool concept, would be nice to have a wider variety of cards and for the different phases to be more clearly visually indicated. But overall fun.

Thanks so much! FOR THE HIVE!

Controls can be a confusing but still a cute game

Really interesting game! I clipped out of bounds a few times but was mostly pretty smooth. Love the character sprite!

Thanks!

Thank you, we really wanted to go for a kind of board gamey feel and it's good that came across!
