In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player is supposed to destroy enemies that are going after him, by killing 5 enemies the player gains a helpers that will help the player destroy enemies. The player can gain 4 helpers max.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Almost all of the code was written by me, i used one script from the Brackeys Audio Manager tutorial with a slight modification, although i had a teamate who made all the particles and textures. The music tracks were made by my brother and sound effects were found online as well as the font

The background is quite distracting (very noisy)
The helpers seem a bit useless. They die really easily and they don’t aim so it’s hard for them to actually shoot any enemies

tbh i was gonna add health to the helpers but i forgot :(
I like the gameplay, but could use some more variation in enemies and enemy patterns I guess. Also I agree with the background comment, kind of hurts the eyes after a while :p.
After a while it seems the music stops as well. Good job on creating the game!

Nice game! I'd suggest, if I might, changing the background texture, as it kinda blurs upon movement. Maybe something larger with more details and no seam?
It is very fun to play and the music and graphics are really good. One thing I would suggest is a score system so there is a clear objective and also to make the followers a bit more useful since they die very easily. But, as I said, very fun gameplay.
(Also the "options" button doesn't work. I don't know if it's a bug or maybe you just forgot to delete it)
